It's important to clean your pipette regularly so that long-standing burning residue doesn't affect the taste of the product you enjoy. Follow these steps to maintain and clean your plumbing to get its maximum potential.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Cleaning Cigar Shells
Step 1. Allow the shells to cool completely
Step 2. Empty the remaining ash and tobacco from the head of the cangklong
You can do this by tapping on it or using a special small shovel. Gently blow through the mouthpiece to remove any remaining debris.
Step 3. Remove the handle or mouthpiece
This may require a slight tug or twist.
Step 4. Clean the handle
Put in the shell cleaner and move the object back and forth in the handle to clean it.
Step 5. Clean the stem
Insert the shell cleaner and move the object back and forth through the opening where the rod connects to the shell head. Keep cleaning until all the burning residue is gone.
- Use the solution if you want even if it's not needed. If you are using a cleaning solution, place a piece of tissue paper inside the shell's head to keep any excess liquid flowing from the outside of your shell.
- You can also double the shell cleaner, when the tip is dirty, to make sure you get the most out of it.
Step 6. Clean the shell head slowly
Add the shell cleaner and then gently move it all over the sides and bottom of the shell head. You will want to remove some of the stems on the sides but not all of them.
You can also use Q-tips if you want
Step 7. Clean the lip of the shell
Put a little saliva on the Q-tip then gently rub the lip of the cangklong to clean all the rest of the burning from there.
Step 8. Rub your shells with olive oil
Some people think it's necessary, while others don't. Do whichever you prefer.
Step 9. Clean your shells regularly
Don't wait for the shells to get very dirty: clean your shells regularly!
Method 2 of 2: Cleaning the Cannabis
Step 1. Pour the salt into the head of the oyster and the mouthpiece
English salt works great but table salt can also be used.
Step 2. Place the shells in a small container
The size of the container must be close to the size of the cangklong. It should also be made of a fairly hard material (not made of cheap plastic) because you will be putting a strong chemical or very hot water in it.
Step 3. Pour in your cleaning fluid
Now, it doesn't matter what cleaning fluid you use. Applying rubbing alcohol is also a good thing to do but it can ruin the color of your shells or may leave an unhealthy residue behind. Alternatively, you can use vinegar or liquid listerine and mix it with boiling water. Whatever you use, pour the mixture into a container.
Step 4. Place your shells in the mixture
Add the shells and let them soak for at least five minutes.
Step 5. Rinse the whole shell with water
Remove the shell from the cleaning liquid and rinse all parts with hot water. Be careful not to drop your hook while doing this.
Step 6. Clean the remaining dirt that is still there
Use a shell cleaner, Q-tips, and tissue paper to remove any remaining dirt.
Step 7. Repeat as necessary
If you haven't cleaned your shell in a long time, it will take two to three repetitions before the shell is completely clean. Clean your shells regularly to avoid this.
