Step
Part 1 of 2: Eating Pears
Step 1. Select the type of pear you want to eat
Each type of pear has its own taste, color, shape and season, especially in a country with four seasons. But after all, no type of pear is better than the other. So you don't have to think about what kind of pear you should buy and enjoy. Just buy what you want or what is available. Here are some types of pears that are quite common in various countries:
- Anjou Pears: This golden green pear has a sweet and buttery taste.
- Asian pear: This pear is yellow in color and shaped like an apple, and tastes like a combination of watermelon and potato.
- Bartlett pears: These pears taste best when they are yellow but still have green spots and are easily damaged. Pears of this type will be green when not ripe. There are also red bartlett pears out there that are similar but only differ in skin color.
- Bosc Pears: These pears have a golden skin and have an interesting and aromatic taste.
- Comice Pears: These pears have thick green skin and juicy flesh.
- Seckel pears: These pears are small and red and green in color and are perfect for a snack or snack.
Step 2. Wait for the pears to ripen or ripen
Usually, when you buy a pear at the store, the fruit is still firm and not fully ripe. You need to wait until the fruit is fully ripe in your home. Contrary to popular belief, you should actually start the cooking process by refrigerating it first (one to two days for Bartlett pears, but two to six weeks for Anjou, Bosc, or Comice pears) for optimal results. Once you've removed them from the refrigerator, you'll need to wait for them to cook below 18 to 23 degrees Celsius for four to 10 days to fully cook.
To speed up the process after removing it from the refrigerator, you can place it in a paper bag or near a ripe apple or banana
Step 3. Eat the pears whole with the skin on
You can eat a pear the same way you eat an apple, by holding it and eating it straight from the center. Pears also have a core, so don't eat too deep into the center. If you don't like it or can't stand to eat it with the skin, you can peel it first. This will make the pears tastier but also make your hands dirty or wet. So, if you want to peel the pears, you may want to cut them into small pieces.
Step 4. Cut the fruit into small pieces
You can also cut the fruit into small pieces before eating it. Before cutting it, it's a good idea to peel the skin first, especially if the skin is thick. This will also make the fruit taste better. Peel the skin, divide in half, remove the center, then cut the fruit into small pieces of the desired size.
Step 5. Boil the pears
To enjoy braised pears, all you need is sugar, boiling water and vanilla flavour.
Part 2 of 2: Using Pears in Recipes
Step 1. Make candied pears
Make this delicious sweet by simmering your pears with cinnamon, spices, honey, and vinegar on a patchwork, then letting it sit overnight. Then take the syrup, bring it to a boil, and pour it over the pears. Store in a jar and your sweets are ready to be enjoyed.
Step 2. Make the pear pie
All you need to do to make this pear pie is pear dough, sugar, flour, pears, butter and a few other essential ingredients. Put the dough in the oven for 10 minutes at 232 degrees Celsius and for 30 to 40 minutes at 176 degrees Celsius.
Step 3. Make a pear salad with pecans
To make this salad, you will need a variety of ingredients such as Asian pears, pecans, vinegar, oil, mustard, and Gorgonzola cheese. Mix all the ingredients and enjoy.
Step 4. Make the rhubarb, apple, and pear crisp
To make this dessert, all you need to do is chop up all the ingredients, place them on a baking tray, and cover them with a mixture of butter, oats, and cinnamon. Then put it in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 50 minutes.
