This wikiHow teaches you how to delete a blog from your Tumblr site account. You can't use the mobile online app to delete a blog, nor can you delete a blog that doesn't belong to you. keep in mind that in order to delete the main blog, you will have to delete the Tumblr account.

Method 1 of 2: Deleting Secondary Blog
Step 1. Open https://www.tumblr.com/ in your computer's web browser
The Tumblr dashboard page will open if you are logged in to your Tumblr account.
- If you are not logged in automatically, click Login, enter email address, click Next, then enter the password and click Login.
- When you log in to Tumblr, you will be automatically taken to the main blog, which is the one you created when you created your Tumblr account. You can't delete your main blog without deleting your Tumblr account; however, you can delete any additional Tumblr blogs associated with your account using this method.
Step 2. Click the "Account" icon
This icon resembles the silhouette of the person on the top right side of the page. Click to open the drop down menu.
Step 3. Click Settings
It's a gear icon in the " Account " section of the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Select a blog
In the "Blogs" section near the bottom-right corner of the page, click the name of the secondary blog that you want to delete. Choose to open the blog's Settings page.

Step 5. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
Here you will find the option to delete the blog.
Step 6. Click Delete [blog name]
It's a gray button at the bottom of the page. You will see the blog name instead of "[blog name]" in the button.
For example, to delete a blog named "orcasandoreos", click Delete orcasandoreos at the bottom of the page.
Step 7. Enter your email name and password
If prompted, type the email address and password you use on Tumblr into the "Email" and "Password" boxes, respectively.
Step 8. Click Delete [blog name]
It's a red button in the "Password" text box. Click to delete the selected Tumblr blog and remove it from your account.
Method 2 of 2: Deleting Account
Step 1. Open https://www.tumblr.com/ in your computer's web browser
The Tumblr dashboard will open if you are logged in to Tumblr.
If you do not log in to your account automatically, click Login, enter email address, click Next, then enter the password and click Login.
Step 2. Click the "Account" icon
This icon is a human silhouette in the upper right corner of a Tumblr page. Click to open the drop down menu.
Step 3. Click Settings
It's a gear icon and is in the " Account " section of the drop-down menu.
Step 4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page
This is the section of the Settings page where the option to delete your account is located.
Step 5. Click Delete account
It's at the bottom of the page.
If you see Delete [blog name] here, you are viewing the secondary blog settings page. Click the main blog name on the right side of the page, scroll down, and click Delete account before continuing.
Step 6. Enter your email and password
When prompted, type in the email address and password associated with your Tumblr account.
Step 7. Click Delete everything
Here's the red button below the "Password" text box. Click to instantly delete your Tumblr account and all associated blogs.

*Deleting a Tumblr account is permanent. Once deleted, the account cannot be recovered.
