Goose origami is a very traditional form. This goose is very easy to make. You just need to fold a few triangles. So, this origami swan is perfect for beginners. At first, the swans you make may seem sloppy, but you'll soon be good at making very elegant and beautiful swans after just a few minutes of practice.
Step
Step 1. Prepare a rectangular paper, turn it over so that the colored part lies down
Step 2. Fold the paper in half diagonally to form a triangle
Step 3. Open the triangle so that the paper returns to a rectangular shape
Step 4. Take both sides and fold them to the center, parallel to the crease line previously made
Now the paper will form a kite.
Step 5. Turn the paper over
Step 6. Take the sides of the kite and fold it back to the middle
Now the kite is slimmer with a triangular pattern on each side.
Step 7. Without turning the paper, take the sharp end of the kite (the smaller corner) and fold it to the top corner of the kite, with the corner position parallel to the center line
Step 8. Take the sharp end of the corner and fold it slightly downwards
This section should form a triangle that is only 1 or 2 cm long. The triangle created in the previous step will now form a long trapezoid.
Step 9. Remember the center fold line in the first step?
Fold the origami along these lines. The position of the small triangle should be on the outside.
Step 10. Hold the base of the triangle firmly, then pull the pointed end of the triangle to the height you want
Can be perpendicular or form an acute angle.
Step 11. Pull the small triangle on the tip outwards to form the swan's beak
Step 12. Decorate as desired
Step 13. Done
Tips
- Make sure the folds are firm and neat. The neater it is, the more elegant the swan will be.
- If the paper is difficult to shape because it is too wrinkled when it was folded, take new paper. Otherwise, the goose will look shabby.
- In the first step, you can place the white side of the paper underneath. As a result, most of the swan's surface will appear white.
- Use decorative paper to make a beautiful swan.
- Read and study the steps above slowly to understand them well.
Warning
- Don't stress if you haven't made it the first time. Just try again.
- The sharp edges of the paper can scratch your hands. Be careful.
