Step 1. Draw two overlapping circles
The top circle is slightly larger than the bottom circle.

Step 2. Draw two circles for the bird's eye
Draw a curved crescent moon inside a circle or bracelet to resemble a cartoon eye.

Step 3. Draw the details for the bird's beak in the center of the two circles

Step 4. Draw additional details for the bird's head

Step 5. Draw the bird's wings using rounded arches extending from its body

Step 6. Draw the details for the feet, the feet of the bird, and the tail feathers

Step 7. Trace with the pen and erase the unnecessary lines
Add additional details.

Method 2 of 2: Traditional Birds

Step 1. Draw two circles to provide a drawing framework
One small circle and at the top right of the page, the other large in the middle of the page.

Step 2. Draw a curved line connecting the two circles to form the bird's body

Step 3. Draw a slender triangle with a center line to form the beak
The triangle extends at the bottom right.

Step 4. Improve the image by adding details for the eyes and feathers for the wings

Step 5. Draw slender legs using straight lines

Step 6. Trace with the pen and erase the unnecessary lines
Draw details for the feathers around the body.

Tips
- Sketch it lightly so that if you make a mistake, you won't destroy the paper by erasing it.
- Make sure to keep the pencil sharp.
