Have you ever dreamed of becoming a model for a magazine like Playboy? If so, there are two different ways you can do it! See below for the first steps to getting started on your path to achieving your dream job.

Method 1 of 2: Attending an Election Call or Audition
Step 1. Find out when Playboy's next casting call is coming to a city near you
You can do an internet search to find out when a casting call in your area will take place, or you can look it up on the Playboy website -- they have a map showing where ongoing casting calls are being made. If there are no casting calls scheduled in your area and you feel you have what it takes to be a Playmate, you can take a trip to an area that has casting calls for auditions.
You don't need modeling experience -- the photographer at the audition will direct you throughout the photo process
Step 2. Prepare for the D-day
In the weeks leading up to the audition make sure you maintain a healthy diet and exercise. Playboy is looking for the sexiest women. Get the ideal body to the point where you feel confident and comfortable with your own body. Because at the end of the day, an important aspect of Playboy is being comfortable being naked.
You may want to practice some poses in front of the mirror to find out which poses you are most seductive in. Practice your best smoldering seductive look. Learn how to seduce with your eyes. Have a friend take photos of you posing in different ways to see how each pose looks
Step 3. Choose the perfect outfit
You are required to wear either lingerie, a bikini, or a swimsuit with heels. Go shopping before the casting call and find the perfect outfit. Look for sexy, quirky clothes that will show off your best assets. Pair it with the perfect heels -- these should match and make you look like you have really long legs.
Step 4. Get a good night's sleep the night before
While you may wake up restless, excited, or a combination of the two, you should rest the night before. After all, you want to be in perfect shape for the audition process, with bright, lively eyes. But don't try anything that puts you to sleep -- things like sleeping pills can make you dizzy the next day.
Step 5. Bring two forms of identification
Playboy requires you to bring two forms of identification to a casting call proving that you are 18 years old. One of the identifications must be issued by the government and have a photo, birthday, and expiration date (such as a driver's license, passport or ID card). The other one does not need to be issued by the government but must have your name and birthday (eg birth certificate, social security card, voter registration card, etc).
You don't need to carry a portfolio. However, additional photos will be accepted and added to your biodata form. Please note that the photos will not be returned to you
Step 6. Arrange your hair and makeup before you go to the casting call
Playboy requires that your hair and makeup be applied before you appear for your casting call. Remember, the less the better! The best look is entirely your goal -- if your hair looks its best in curls, then curl it before you go there!
Step 7. Know what to expect during interviews and photo shoots
When you arrive at the casting call, you will need to present your ID and complete biodata form. You can also fill out a model release letter, but this is optional. Then you'll change into lingerie or bikini, put on a robe, and wait to be called. The interview will be casual, and during that time you will have a professional photographer to take your photos and videos. The interview and photo shoot will last 15 to 20 minutes. Show them your skills!
Keep in mind that you're auditioning for Playboy and should be okay with being naked, even during interviews -- in the end you're supposed to be naked at least to some degree
Step 8. Be patient while waiting for the call
Playboy may take four to six weeks to reach you after the casting call. Playboy stated on their website that they would not be taking calls about the audition status. If you are selected as a Playmate, Playboy will provide specific instructions to follow. You will sign a contract and have your own review on their magazine. Plus, Playmate is the Playmate for life! That means going to parties and getting into the ranks as Playmate of the Year.
If you haven't gotten a call from a Playboy rep in six weeks, that means there aren't any open positions for you at the moment in the magazine. However, your casting call audition will be kept on file for future consideration
Method 2 of 2: Apply Online
Step 1. Take photos for submission
If you are unable to make the casting call, you can apply online by submitting a photo for consideration. Playboy requires you to submit a headshot and 4-6 inches of your nude photo. These photos don't have to be taken by a professional, but they should be clear (no blurry shots!). Half of your photo should be taken from the front side, and half from the back side.
Make a copy of your photo because your photo will not be returned after the application process, whether you are hired or not
Step 2. Make a copy of your ID
Playboy applications require that you submit a copy of your photo ID proving you are 18 years of age or older. This is really important because your application will not be accepted without proof of age (no matter how sexy or good your photo is).
Step 3. Have all your information ready before applying
You will need all the normal information (including your full name, address, birthday, and whether or not you are a citizen of the United States). You will also need physical information. This information includes your current height, height, bust measurements, waist measurements, hip measurements, hair color, eye color and ethnic background.
- If you're enrolled in a college, you'll also need to include the school's major and activities, as well as the name of the college and its location.
- You also have the option of posting a link to any online site you own, including your website, Facebook, or Twitter.
Step 4. Know that there are other model opportunities besides Playmate
When you apply for a modeling position as a Playmate at Playboy, your application is automatically sent to Playboy's other modeling sector. Even if you are not accepted as a Playmate, your application will be reviewed by other parts of the Playboy business, so you still have the potential to be hired as a model. Other modeling opportunities include Cyber Girls, Playboy Special Editions, Playboy Golf, and more
Step 5. Fill in the online application
Applications can be found here. As stated above, you will need to fill in information, upload an ID proving you are 18 years or older, and a photo. You will also be required to write a digital signature and tick the 'I agree' box stating that you acknowledge the rules and swear that everything you wrote on the application is true.
Step 6. Know what will happen if you are selected
You should hear from Playboy in four to six weeks. If you haven't heard from them in six weeks, that means there are no Playmate vacancies currently open. However, if you are accepted, you will be flown in (all fees paid) to meet a Playboy photographer for a photo shoot.
