This wikiHow teaches you how to delete photos from your Instagram profile using a computer. Deletion can be done on Windows and Mac computers using Bluestacks or by going to the Instagram mobile site through the Google Chrome developer tool, as well as the Instagram app on Windows 10 computers. You cannot delete multiple photos at once on any version of Instagram, and services that claim to provide the feature is most likely a fraudulent service.

Method 1 of 3: Using Bluestacks
Step 1. Understand what this process can do
While you can follow this method to delete photos from an Instagram page via the Bluestacks Android emulator, you can't delete multiple photos at once.
There's no way to delete multiple photos on Instagram at once because the platform has blocked extensions, apps or services that previously offered the feature
Step 2. Install Bluestacks on the computer
Visit https://www.bluestacks.com/ and click the “ Download BlueStacks ” is green, then double-click the downloaded installation file and follow the on-screen prompts.
On Mac computers, you may need to verify the installation
Step 3. Download the Instagram APK file
Bluestacks doesn't allow you to install Instagram directly from the Google Play Store so you'll need to download the Instagram APK file yourself and install it into Bluestacks:
- Visit https://apkpure.com/instagram/com.instagram.android via your computer's web browser.
- Click " Download APK ”.
- Wait for the file to finish downloading.
Step 4. Open Bluestacks
Click or double-click the Bluestacks app icon, which looks like a pile of green, yellow, and blue cards.
Step 5. Click Installed Apps
It's in the upper-left side of the Bluestacks window.
Step 6. Click Install apk
It's in the lower-right side of the window.
Step 7. Select the Instagram APK file
Go to the location where the downloaded APK file is stored, then click on the file once to select it.
Step 8. Click Open
It's in the lower-right corner of the window. Instagram will be installed to Bluestacks afterwards.
Step 9. Open Instagram
Click the Instagram app icon, which looks like a colorful camera box.
If you are prompted to restart Bluestacks with a different graphics card when opening Instagram, click the option “ Restart ” and wait for the program to finish restarting before moving on to the next step.
Step 10. Click Log In
This blue button is on the first page of Instagram.
Step 11. Enter the account login details
Click the " Phone number, email or username " field and type in the Instagram username (email address or phone number), click the " Password " field and enter the account password, then select " Login ”.
Step 12. Verify the account if prompted
If you are prompted to verify your account before proceeding, follow these steps:
- Choose a verification method (short message or email).
- Click " Send Security Code ”
- Get a six-digit security code from your phone's messaging app or email address.
- Enter the six-digit security code.
- Click " Submit ”.
Step 13. Click the profile icon
It's in the lower-right corner of the Bluestacks window. The profile page will open after that.
Step 14. Click the photo
Select the photo you want to delete. After that, the photo will be opened.
Step 15. Click
It's in the top-right corner of the photo. The menu will open after that.
Step 16. Click Delete
This option is displayed in the menu.
Step 17. Click Delete when prompted
The photo will be deleted from your Instagram page after that.
Repeat the process for each photo you want to delete
Method 2 of 3: Using Google Chrome
Step 1. Understand what this process can do
While you can follow this method to delete photos from an Instagram page via the Bluestacks Android emulator, you can't delete multiple photos at once.

Step 2. Open the inkognito window on Google Chrome
Show Google Chrome if it's not already open, select ⋮ ” at the top right side of the window, and select “ New incognito window ” from the drop-down menu.
You can also use the shortcut Ctrl+⇧ Shift+N (Windows) or Command+⇧ Shift+N (Mac) to bring up the incognito window
Step 3. Display the “Developer Tools” window
Right-click an empty column on the page and select “ Inspect ” from the drop-down menu. The “Developer Tools” window will appear on the right side of the page.
If your mouse doesn't have dedicated left and right-click buttons, press the button with two fingers, press the right side of the button, or touch the trackpad with two fingers
Step 4. Select the "mobile devices" icon
This two-rectangular icon is displayed on the top left side of the “Developer Tools” window. The icon color will turn blue once clicked and Chrome will display the content in mobile view.

Step 5. Go to Instagram website
Click the address bar at the top of the Chrome window, replace the displayed text with https://www.instagram.com/, and press Enter.
Step 6. Log in to Instagram account
Select link Log in ” at the bottom of the page, type in the username (can be replaced with an email address or phone number) and the account password, then select “ Log in ”.
Step 7. Select profile icon
This human-shaped icon appears at the top right of the page.
Step 8. Select a photo
Find and click the photo you want to delete. The photo will be displayed in full screen.
Step 9. Click
This button appears at the top right of the photo. A pop-up window will open afterwards.
Step 10. Select Delete
This option is in the pop-up window.
Step 11. Select Delete when prompted
The photo will be removed from your profile. While they won't disappear from the currently open window, they will be deleted when you reload the page or open the Instagram feed page.
Click the profile icon again to exit the photo window
Step 12. Repeat the process for each photo you want to delete
Open the photo you want to delete, click " ⋯", choose " Delete ” twice, and click the profile icon to exit the photo window.
Method 3 of 3: Via Instagram App for Windows 10
Step 1. Understand what this process can do
While you can follow this method to delete photos from an Instagram page via the Bluestacks Android emulator, you can't delete multiple photos at once.

Step 2. Download the Windows 10 dedicated Instagram app
If the app is already available, move on to the next step. To download the Instagram app:

Show menu Start ”
- Enter store

Choose Store ”
- Click the search bar or “ search bar ”.
- Enter instagram
- Choose " Instagram ” from the drop-down menu.
- Choose " Get ”.
Step 3. Open the “Start” menu
Click the Windows icon on the lower left side of the screen to open the menu.
Step 4. Type instagram into the “Start” menu
The computer will search for the Instagram app after that.
Step 5. Select Instagram
It's at the top of the "Start" window. The Instagram login window will be displayed.
Step 6. Sign in to the account
Select link Sign In ” at the bottom of the window, type in the username (can be replaced with a phone number or email address) and password, and select “ Login ”.
Skip this step if you're already signed in to your account
Step 7. Select profile icon
This human-shaped icon appears in the lower-right side of the window. Your profile page will be opened.
Step 8. Select a photo
Find and click the photo you want to delete. The photo will be opened afterwards.
Step 9. Click
This option appears on the top right side of the photo. A pop-up menu will open below the window afterwards.
Step 10. Select Delete
This option is in the pop-up menu.
Step 11. Select Delete when prompted
The photo will be deleted afterwards and you will be taken back to your profile page.
Step 12. Repeat the process for other photos you want to delete
While you can't delete more than one photo at a time, you can do a quick deletion by opening the photos individually and going through the deletion process.
