Strategy is a plan of attack or action designed in such a way as to achieve a goal. A good strategy that guarantees success depends on how realistic, how detailed, and how neat the steps in the strategy are. Make a strategy either alone or with a team, make the necessary steps, set a time limit for execution, then review the plan if it has been done.

Part 1 of 4: Selecting the Problem to Solve
Step 1. Identify what problem you need to solve
You certainly can't strategize if you don't know what to do.
Step 2. Deal with the problems one by one
If you have several problems to solve, then you will need to come up with several strategies, because one strategy can usually solve only one or very few problems.
Step 3. Determine the goal or desired outcome
Select the scope of goals you want to achieve. Determine the results you want so that the steps you take in your strategy have a clear direction.
Step 4. Review whether your goals are achievable
You may want to ask someone with more experience if your strategy and goals are realistic enough. For example, if you want to move up the ranks next year, ask your coworker in a more advanced position about how long it will take for an employee in your position to get a higher position in the office.
If your goals cannot be achieved with the strategies you use, make adjustments to your goals. Maybe you should start with getting a five percent raise and take on more responsibility in your position. Return to the goal of getting a promotion later
Part 2 of 4: Creating a Team to Strategize
Step 1. Invite others to join a strategy-building session that has a favorable outcome or involves multiple parties
In the office, this means your division or department and other divisions. In home or other personal purposes, this means parents, spouse or friends.
Step 2. Explain your goals to team members
Give them time to think about and understand the problem at hand.
Step 3. Assign tasks based on specialization or expertise
If a member of your team is from HR, he or she should be tasked with coming up with the best strategy for asking for a raise. If someone is a financial expert, he or she can strategize how a raise can improve your quality of life and motivation.
Step 4. Negotiate some ideas on how to solve the problem at hand
Write down any ideas that might be useful.
Part 3 of 4: Setting Up the Necessary Tools
Step 1. Make your plan neatly
When searching and negotiating ideas, the most useful tools are pencils or pen and paper, or anything that can help you record and retain information.
Step 2. Decide how you will track the progress of your plan
You need to measure the success rate of your strategy, either on a weekly or monthly basis.
For example, if you want to get 500 new Facebook followers on your Facebook page, then you have to track your new followers and total followers each month. In addition, you also need to record all the posts that you make. To make things easier for you, Facebook itself has several features that allow you to track such things
Step 3. Use technology
If you're not very tech savvy, at least you know how to use Excel. However, if you want to better and more accurately monitor the progress of your strategy, you may need some tools like Google Analytics, CRM management software, or a financial tracker like Mint.com.
Part 4 of 4: Setting Goals and Timeline
Step 1. Determine the final deadline when you should achieve your strategic goals
Step 2. Break the strategy down into five to 10 steps
Set a deadline for when each of these steps should be implemented.
Step 3. Mark each important date on your calendar with some necessary notes and descriptions
Step 4. Break each step into sub-steps if necessary
Organize all these steps and sub-steps into several bullet points with the required information.
Step 5. Delegate tasks to someone else if you are creating a team-based strategy
Make sure each of these tasks can be monitored and accounted for by asking them to report on their progress on a regular basis.
Step 6. Review the progress of your strategy periodically
Make changes to your strategy according to the progress you get as you execute your strategy.
Step 7. Make sure everyone on your team and everyone involved knows everything about your strategy
If so, update and spread the strategy change to people who need to know.

Step 8. Decide when your strategy should reach its ultimate goal
Once the deadline comes, review your strategy. If your strategy is successful, it means that you can use this strategy to solve the same problem in the future.
