This wikiHow teaches you how to find your Steam account ID.
Step
Step 1. Visit the official Steam website at
If you are logged in, you will see your account home page.
- If you're not logged into your account, click the login link in the top-right corner of the page, then enter your Steam account email address and password. After that, click Sign in.
- If you haven't used your Steam account for several weeks, you'll be asked to enter a code Steam sent to your email address. This code serves to validate the identity.
Step 2. Click your profile name at the top of the Steam page
The profile name is a few tabs to the right of the Steam logo.
Step 3. Right-click on an empty part of the page
If your computer doesn't have a right-click button, click the link with two fingers.
Step 4. On the menu that appears after you right-click the page, click View Page Source
A new tab with the page source code will appear.
- You can also access the page's source code by pressing Ctrl + U. If you're using a Mac, press Command+⌥ Option instead of Ctrl.
- If you are not automatically taken to the tab containing the source code, click the tab to view the source code of the page.
Step 5. Hold down Ctrl (PC) or Command (Mac), and press F to open the search window.
Step 6. Enter steamid in the search field
The computer will look for the steamid text in the page's source code. The only search result will show your Steam account ID.
Step 7. Write down the number next to the "steamid" entry
The number is your Steam account ID.
