Step
Method 1 of 2: Making a Moscow Mule
Step 1. Get a Collins glass
A Collins glass is a tall, straight glass. This glass is similar to a highball glass, but taller.
Step 2. Put the ice cubes into the glass
Don't add too much ice. Fill the glass with ice cubes until half full.
Step 3. Squeeze the limes
After you squeeze the lime juice into the glass, add the rind into the glass as well.
Step 4. Pour in the vodka
Measure out the vodka and pour it into a glass.
Step 5. Add ginger beer
Ginger beer should be cold. You can make your own ginger beer using the recipe provided in this article.
Step 6. Decorate the glass with lime wedges
Slice the lemon flesh slightly, then place the lime wedges on the side of the glass.
Step 7. Add the stirring stick
Serve immediately.
Method 2 of 2: Making Ginger Beer at Home
Step 1. Grate the ginger
Start with 100 grams of ginger. Peel the edges of the ginger, then grate until smooth.
Step 2. Bring the water to a boil
Take 1 liter of water.
Step 3. Mix the ginger and lime
Add grated ginger to the water. Add 15 ml of lime juice. Put the lid on the pot and let it sit for an hour.
Step 4. Mix brown sugar
Add 2 tablespoons of brown sugar.
Step 5. Strain the beer
Use a sieve to drain the ginger and lime pulp. Squeeze the ginger pulp until it is completely dry to ensure that the ginger flavor is fully released in the beer.
Step 6. Store in an airtight container, then put it in the refrigerator
You can store it in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, although ginger beer actually tastes better if you enjoy it right after it's made.
