One of the biggest problems new players in Candy Crush have is running out of lives. Each player has 5 lives, which if used you will get an additional life every 30 minutes. This means that each player needs 2.5 hours for a complete set of lives. Any Candy Crush fan will agree that this is too long, especially when you finally figure out how to get past the level you're playing.
But there's no need to worry. There are several ways to get extra lives. Two of those ways are approved by Candy Crush, and one is designed to help you get free extra lives without asking your friends.

Method 1 of 3: Buying Lives
Although the game Candy Crush is free to download and play, the total purchase of boosters and extra lives from within the game has earned its designers millions of dollars. Here's how you buy lives in Candy Crush.
Step 1. Click the “More Lives Now” option when the “No More Lives” screen appears
This is an option to buy lives from Candy Crush using a credit card or other related payment method.
Step 2. Click on the “$0.99” button to buy lives
Depending on the mobile platform you are using (iOS or Android), through this app you will be connected to the store to approve the purchase. Remember, this purchase costs money.
Method 2 of 3: Ask a Friend
Like most games with other aspects of social networking, Candy Crush allows you to ask (read: beg) your friends for extra lives. Here's how it works.
Step 1. Connect your Facebook account
You can only ask friends for lives if your Facebook account is linked to Candy Crush. Click the connect button on the Candy Crush home screen.
Step 2. Allow Candy Crush to send something to your friends on your behalf
The game will then contact your friends when you want extra lives or boosters, but will not send status updates on your behalf. The game will also sync with your Facebook account, so you can play Candy Crush on Facebook and continue the levels on your mobile. You will see the following three screens after granting permission.
Step 3. Ask for extra lives as a gift from your friends
After you've gone through the process of connecting your Facebook and Candy Crush accounts, you'll need to click the "Ask Friends" button to ask them for extra lives.
Step 4. Choose the friends you want to ask for a life
You will see a page with a list of Facebook friends. Choose the friend you want to ask. Remember that you can only choose up to 5 people at a time, so you don't have to ask 20 people because you won't be able to use all of their lives at the same time. It is recommended that you ask a few friends at a time, instead of spamming their accounts by asking for them every day.
Method 3 of 3: Unlimited Lives in Candy Crush
This is the easiest, cheapest and fastest way to get extra lives. Every Candy Crush addict should know this trick because you can have a full set of lives in less than a minute. Note: Although the images in this article are from iOS 7, this trick can work on all mobile platforms.
Step 1. Go to Settings > General > Date & Time
The trick is to advance your phone clock a few hours ahead so you can get free lives, then come back (this is important), before you start playing.
Step 2. Move the time on your phone a few hours ahead
You must disable the automatic timing for this. It is easier to advance the time by a day or a month, because it is easier to change the day or month than it is to advance the hour hand. In the following example we advance one day ahead.
Step 3. Return to the game
You will see if you have a full life. Don't start playing just yet. Go back to Settings > General > Date & Time and fix the time. It is easiest to set the “Set automatically” time, as you use the operator to set the correct time and automatically adjust it.
Tips
Try to remember the friends who asked you for extra lives and boosters, then ask them the same. Because they play regularly, they are more likely to respond to your requests
Warning
- You can only buy extra lives or ask your friends on Facebook if you are connected to the Internet.
- If you start playing without readjusting the clock to the correct time, you will be penalized for the game. Therefore, avoid this by always readjusting your watch to the actual time before playing again.
- If you rewind or advance the time several times (if not using “Set Time Automatically”), the hours will be a few minutes apart. To fix it really easy, just use the “Set Time Automatically” option when you are done.
