For beginners, level 77 of Candy Crush Saga might be a bit annoying. To be able to complete this level, the player must clear all the jellies and reach 50,000 points in just 25 steps. However, all the jellies are located in a middle row that doesn't connect to the rest of the board, and also contains chocolate that will spread if not removed. This forces the player to think creatively to clear the jelly indirectly with a special candy in a limited time.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Using a Winning Strategy
Step 1. Prioritize vertical striped candy
The main difficulty in this level is that the jelly is not in the top and bottom boxes that you can control. Since the center doesn't connect with any other space on the board, take advantage of the top and bottom by making vertical strips of candy whenever you get a chance.
- Notice that the vertical striped candy is generated by matching four candies horizontally. Matching four vertical candies will result in a horizontal striped candy, which won't be of much use on this board since it can't shoot the center.
- Notice that there are nine squares in the center, each containing two layers of jelly. There are 18 jellies in total to clear, and since you have 25 moves, that means you have to shoot the vertical striped candy 18 times (leaving 7 times) in the right place, not missing. That's not realistic. So, winning is easier to achieve if you also use some other super combinations.
Step 2. Use the striped-wrap combination to shoot the center
The candy stripe and wrap combination is the most useful weapon at level 77. This combination can clear three rows and three columns in a large crossed pattern, meaning it can shoot three rows of jelly at a time. Unfortunately, it takes a few steps to come up with a striped-wrapping combination, so don't waste your time searching for this combination if you're short on time.
- One of best possibility To complete this level is to trigger the combination of stripes on the right side of the board at the start of the game. If properly aligned, you can remove the chocolate and the locked box next to it in one step. Reasonable!
- Remember that the striped-pack combination shoots at the direction of the squares being swapped, not the squares that are first touched.
Step 3. If you can, focus on the chocolate first
This chocolate moving from the right is your main enemy at level 77. If you don't get over it as soon as possible before it starts to spread, all the middle squares will be covered in chocolate, making this level even more difficult to complete. That's why it's a good idea to remove the chocolate by shooting some vertical striped candy or a combination of striped-wraps as soon as possible.
- Try removing the chocolate before the locked box opens. While it's still possible to remove chocolate once it's spread, it's almost always difficult and time-consuming.
- Remember that you don't always have to shoot straight at the chocolate, shooting the candy (not the locked one) next to it will also remove the chocolate.
Step 4. Don't forget to look for combinations in the middle
Of course you need to look for vertical striped candy and striped combinations at the top and bottom of the board, but don't forget that sometimes you can also get combinations in the middle. In fact, to complete this level, the possibility of making three rows of the same candy in the middle will be just as valuable as the striped-wrapping combination (and requires only a few steps). Therefore, before moving at the beginning of the game, check the center first to see if there is a good move there before moving to the outside.
In fact, if you can match twice three rows in one move (rare but very possible), you can clear six jelly squares at once. That means twice the result of the striped-wrapping combination in half a step, so don't miss this opportunity
Step 5. Use color bombs if multiple jellies have the same colored candies
Color bombs-formed by matching five rows of the same-colored candy-are useful in certain situations, but not essential, so think before you make them. If you can make a color bomb in one step and then use it to remove the candy that appears a lot in the middle, it will be worth it.
On the other hand, if making a color bomb and using it effectively requires a lot of steps, it's a good idea to save some steps and look for an alternative way
Step 6. If there's nothing else to do to shoot the center, remove the candy under the board
If there are no more productive moves, it's a good idea to remove the candy below the board, not at the top, because when you remove the candy at the bottom, the candy above it will move and drop consecutively to the bottom. This in turn increases your chances of getting special candies (and if you don't, you still earn points from consecutive candy effects).
Method 2 of 3: Knowing What to Avoid
Step 1. Don't waste time changing the candy in the middle
It is important to note that there is no teleportation panel above or below the center box. This means that removing the candy on the top or bottom will not affect the candy in the middle. The only way to replace the candy in the center is to either remove the candy directly or use a striped candy, a striped-wrapped combination, or a striped combination.
Step 2. Do not use candy wrappers except for the striped-wrap combination
Used alone, candy wrappers are useless at this level. The blast range isn't big enough to hit the center where the jelly and chocolate are. Because of that, you don't need to waste any steps on making candy wrappers unless you plan to use them in a striped combination or to trigger a vertical striped candy bar.
However, in the rare opportunity to get a combination of packs, just use it. Its large blast radius should hit the center at least once (unless you crack it under the board)
Step 3. Don't let the chocolate spread uncontrollably
Once the chocolate spreads down the middle, you'll have a really hard time completing this level, because basically the chocolate adds another layer that you have to clean before you can remove the jelly. Your best chance is not to let the chocolate spread until you have a vertical striped candy or two to remove it.
This means you shouldn't shoot locked squares until you're ready to clear the chocolate. You can remove the jelly on the left side and you'll need to clear the chocolate on the right side before the locked box opens, but once the lock is unlocked you have to be ready to clean the chocolate right away or you'll be in big trouble
Step 4. Don't forget the point limit
There's nothing more annoying than successfully clearing all the jellies only to fail for not getting enough points. Even if the one star on the points meter is quite low, there is still a chance that you will finish a level with less than the required 50,000 points, so pay attention to the points you earn as you play.
Keep in mind that you'll earn bonus points for each unused move at the end of the level, so it's always better to finish before the move runs out, than to waste moves trying to create awesome combinations
Method 3 of 3: Using the "Meta" Solution
The tips in this section have nothing to do with how to play, but are generally not considered cheating. Please ignore this section if you wish, as the entertainment value will not be affected.
Step 1. Change the game board until you get a nice layout
This trick only works on the mobile version, not the browser version. If you start a level and don't see any good moves, don't play. Before making any gestures, press the "back" button on your phone, and if asked if you really want to exit, tap yes. You will return to the map screen. Go back to level 77 and you'll get a different layout, but still have the same number of lives. Use this method until you get to a more profitable layout (for example, the possibility of making vertical striped candy bars to the right of the board).
To be clear, you can restart the board by getting back on the map without making any moves and then logging in again. Your life will not decrease. However, if you make a move and then restart the level, your life will decrease
Step 2. Consider using the weapons (boosters) you have collected
If you've used the Daily Booster Wheel, you probably already have some weapons. At level 77, you can use three weapons: striped candy and wrappers, fish, and color bombs. Each will have its advantages, see below for more information.
- Striped candies and packs: if you get a vertical striped candy, you can use it to shoot the center. If the strips and wrappers are close together, you can combine them to form a valuable striped-wrap combination.
- Fish: Arguably the best choice for this level. Fish automatically removes jelly randomly. Since some of the jellies in this level are difficult to deal with, the fish will be very valuable. The smart strategy with using fish is to save them until the end of the level so that they can be used to remove any jelly you want.
- color bomb; see color bomb information above. Color bombs are useful if you have lots of the same colored candies in the middle.

Tips
- Be patient while trying to complete this level. Much of your success is determined by the random arrangement of the candies you get, and this is not something you can control.
- You can also get lives back in the mobile version by speeding up the clock after running out of lives. Don't forget to return the clock to its real number after you've finished playing.
- If you want to cheat, it's not hard to get around the five-life limit in Candy Crush. You just have to start the game in your browser and open it a few more times in different tabs. When you run out of lives in one tab, you still have five lives in another tab. This way, you will easily get 20 to 30 lives, or even more.
