Of course it sucks when you have to wait 30 minutes to get a new life in Candy Crush. Fortunately, there are ways to bypass the time limit without having to purchase additional content. This wikiHow teaches you how to get unlimited lives on your Android device, iPhone, or iPad. If you can access Facebook on a computer, you can also use your existing tools to get one extra life for free.

Method 1 of 2: Using a Phone or Tablet
Step 1. Use the remaining lives
Complete the levels until you run out of lives. In the middle of the game, you can find out how many lives you have left next to the heart icon, at the top of the screen.
Step 2. Close Candy Crush Saga
After running out of life, close the app (and not just hide the window). Use the following steps to close the Candy Crush Saga app:
- On iPhone and iPad, gently swipe up from the bottom of the screen. On Android devices, touch an icon that resembles a square or a physical button that looks like two squares stacked on top of each other. On Samsung devices, tap the three vertical lines icon. A list of all apps that are in suspended mode will load.
- Swipe right until you see a trailer for Candy Crush Saga's latest progress.
- Swipe up the Candy Crush Saga window or trailer. The image will disappear and indicate that the application has been successfully closed.
Step 3. Advance the phone time
By advancing your device's time, you can "trick" Candy Crush Saga into thinking the game has passed. This means you will get a new life. Use the following steps to advance the time by three hours (as a safe option).
- iOS – Touch the “Settings” icon and select “ General " After that, touch " Date & Time " Slide the “Set Automatically” switch to the “OFF” or “OFF” position, then touch the time. Scroll the clock wheel upwards to advance the time by three hours.
- Android – Touch “ Settings ” on the home screen or press the menu button and select “Settings”. Tap the magnifying glass icon and type "Date & Time" into the search bar. After that, touch " Date & Time " Slide the "Automatic date & time" switch to the "OFF" or "OFF" position. Choose " Set Time " Slide the clock wheel to advance the time by three hams. Step 4. Wait for 1-2 minutes
Before restarting Candy Crush Saga, wait a moment.
Step 5. Restart Candy Crush Saga

The number of lives will be filled and you can return to play. If you run out of lives, simply repeat this method to get additional lives.
Note: If you currently need to wait longer than before to get additional lives, it's possible that you waited less time in step three. Repeat the steps and advance the clock to “pay” for the longer waiting time
Method 2 of 2: Gaining Extra Lives Through Computer
Step 1. Play until only one life remains
This trick only works if you have one last life so make sure you pay attention to the number of lives you have.
You can't get unlimited lives on the Facebook version of Candy Crush because the game is run through a central server. Sites that claim to provide unlimited lives are scam sites
Step 2. Open a new tab
Once you have one last life, open Candy Crush in a new tab in your browser.
Step 3. Load Candy Crush Saga on a new tab
Go to Facebook in a new tab and tap " Candy Crush Saga " on the left sidebar. Don't play the level right away. Just prepare the game at this stage.
Step 4. Play the game on the first tab
If you run out of the last life on the first tab, you can switch to the second tab to get one more life. If you suspect you will lose the last life on that tab, close the tab immediately before the match is over and reopen Candy Crush Saga on Facebook in a new browser window. You can repeat this procedure as long as you open a new tab and close the old tab before the life counter shows “0”.
