The Mineplex server is one of the most popular Minecraft servers and can accommodate more than 4,000 players in a single session. The registration process takes only a few minutes before you can play mini games and join other players.

Step 1. Open Minecraft on the computer
Currently, you can only access the Minecraft server from a computer.
Step 2. Update Minecraft to the latest version
To check that you have the latest version of Minecraft running, check the lower left side of the Minecraft menu the first time you open the game. Click Edit Profile and look for the "Use version" option in the pop-up menu, then select Use Latest Version from the drop-down bar next to it.
Step 3. Open the multiplayer menu (“Multiplayer”)
Go to profile, then select Multiplayer on the main menu.
Step 4. Click the “Add Server” button
The computer must be connected to the internet for this step to follow.
Step 5. Type Mineplex into the server name field
You can actually type any name in the “Server Name” field. However, using the name "Mineplex" is recommended so that you can easily find it in the server list if one day you want to add new servers.
Step 6. Enter the server address
There are two Mineplex server addresses. Choose the nearest address from your country of origin/residence:
- Type " US.mineplex.com ” if you live in/are closer to the United States.
- Type " EU.mineplex.com ” if you live in/are closer to Europe.
Step 7. Press “Done”
The new server will be shown in the list. The banner image is usually labeled "Mineplex Games".
- If there is an empty field with the message " cannot resolve host name ", try re-entering the server information and make sure you typed the server address correctly.
- If the column labeled " cannot connect to server ", your internet network may be experiencing problems. If you're on WiFi, connect your computer to the internet via ethernet, or simply try reconnecting Minecraft to the server.
Step 8. Join the server
Click on the Mineplex server and select Join Server. After that, you will immediately arrive in the world of Mineplex!
