Method 1 of 9: Finding a Public IP Address
Step 1. Go to Google
Visit https://www.google.com/ in a browser.
Step 2. Type what is my ip into Google and press Enter key
After that, Google will show you your public IP address.

At the top of the results page, you can see a set of numbers in a box. These numbers are your network's public IP address that can be seen by others.

The segment is in the middle of the page.
Step 7. Write down the IP address of the computer
The series of numbers next to the heading "IPv4 Address" is your computer's specific IP address.
Method 3 of 9: Finding IP Address on Mac
Step 1. Open Apple menu
Click the Apple logo in the upper-left corner of the screen. After that, a drop-down menu will be displayed.
Step 2. Click System Preferences…
It's at the top of the Apple drop-down menu.
Step 3. Click Network
This option is indicated by the globe icon displayed in the center of the “System Preferences” window.

It's in the lower-right corner of the window.

The series of numbers next to the "IPv4 Address" heading are the specific IP addresses of your Mac computer.
Method 4 of 9: Finding IP Address on iPhone
Step 1. Open iPhone settings menu
(“Settings”).
Touch the gray gear icon to open the menu. Usually the icon is displayed on the device's home screen.
Step 2. Touch Wi-Fi
It's at the top of the screen.
Step 3. Touch the name of the currently connected network
The currently connected network is shown at the top of the screen, and is marked with a blue check mark next to it.
Step 4. Take note of the IP address of the device
The address is displayed to the right of the "IP Address" heading in the "IPV4 ADDRESS" page segment.
Method 5 of 9: Finding IP Address on Android Device
Step 1. Open Android settings menu
(“Settings)”.
Touch the gear icon displayed on the page/app drawer of the device (App Drawer), or swipe down from the top of the screen and touch the gear icon that is displayed.

Method 6 of 9: Finding a Website IP Address on Windows
Step 1. Open the “Start” menu
Click the Windows logo in the lower-left corner of the screen.
Step 2. Type command prompt into the “Start” menu
After that, the computer will search for the Command Prompt program.
Step 3. Click
"Command Prompt".
It's at the top of the “Start” window.
Step 4. Type ping the website into the Command Prompt window
Replace the word "website" with the website address (eg "facebook.com"). You don't have to include the "www" segment. on the website address.
Step 5. Press Enter key
After that, the " Ping " command will be executed and the program will display the IP address of the respective website under the cursor.
Step 6. Take note of the IP address of the website
Next to the " Reply from " line of text, you can see a series of numbers. The number is the IP address of the previously pinged website.
Keep in mind that it is possible that you will see the general IP address of the website. Usually, you can't see the private IP address
Method 7 of 9: Finding a Website IP Address on Mac
Step 1. Open Spotlight
Click the magnifying glass icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
Step 2. Type network utility into Spotlight
After that, the computer will search for the Network Utility program.
Step 3. Click Network Utility
This option is in the top row of search results that appear below the Spotlight search bar. After that, the Network Utility program will be opened.
Step 4. Click the Ping tab
It's a tab at the top of the window.
Step 5. Enter the website address
Click the text field at the top of the page, then type in the address of the website you want (eg "google.com"). You don't have to include the phrase "www." on the website address.
Step 6. Check the box "Send only [number] pings"
By default, this option will send 10 pings to the website. However, you can change the number in the text field to any number you want.
Step 7. Click Ping
It's a blue button in the far-right corner of the window.
Step 8. Take note of the IP address of the displayed website
Next to the " bytes from " line of text at the bottom of the page, you can see a series of numbers. This number is the IP address of the website you are looking for.
Keep in mind that it is possible that you will see the general IP address of the website. Usually, you can't see the IP address of the private server
Method 8 of 9: Finding a Website IP Address on iPhone
Step 1. Download the "Ping" app
This application can be downloaded for free from the device's App Store. To download it:

Open the app
“ App Store ”.
- Touch " Search ”.
- Touch search bar.
- Type ping
- Touch " Search ”
- Select button " GET ” next to the text " Ping - network utility ".
- Enter the password when prompted.
Step 2. Open Ping
Touch the button “ OPEN ” next to the Ping app icon, or tap the Ping app icon on one of your device's home screens. The app icon is a green >_ symbol on a black background.

It's at the top of the screen.
Step 4. Enter the desired website address
Type in the website address (eg "google.com") without the phrase "www.".

The address will be displayed once every one or more seconds on the screen. The IP address will remain displayed in 1 second intervals until you cancel the ping.
- You can touch the button " Stop ” in the upper right corner of the screen to cancel the ping.
- Keep in mind that it is possible that you will see the general IP address of the website. Usually, you can't see the IP address of the private server.
Method 9 of 9: Finding Website IP Address on Android Device
Step 1. Download the "PingTools Network Utility" app
You can get this free application from the device's Google Play Store. To download it:

Open the app
“ Google Play Store ”.
- Touch the search bar.
- Type pingtools.
- Choose " PingTools Network Utility ”.
- Touch " INSTALL ”.
- Touch " AGREE ”.
Step 2. Open PingTools Network Utility
Touch the button “ OPEN ” in the Google Play Store, or touch the PingTools app icon.
Step 3. Touch the button
It's in the upper-left corner of the screen. After that, a pop-out menu will be displayed.

It's in the middle of the pop-out menu.
Step 5. Type in the address of the desired website
Enter the address in the address bar at the top of the screen. You don't have to include the phrase "www." on the site address.

You can find the address under the " Ping [website] " heading displayed on the screen.
