Method 1 of 4: Sonic
Step 1. Sketch a large circle and a small circle attached to each other
This will be a guide for the body and head.
Step 2. Sketch the position of the legs and body
Also add the position of the ears.
Step 3. Add shapes for the legs and arms
Use semicircular and oval shapes for the legs. Use an oval shape for the hands.
Step 4. Sketch the position of the fingers as well as the gloves and socks
Step 5. Add a small circle at the end of the line to mark the fingertip
Step 6. Sketch five curved lines on the sides of the head
The size should decrease from head to back. Also add a line for the tail.
Step 7. Cover the stripes as Sonic spines
Step 8. Add shapes for the eyes and nose
Step 9. Add facial details
Step 10. Draw the basic features of Sonic
Step 11. Delete the draft then add details

Method 2 of 4: Amy Rose
Step 1. Sketch a large circle, a small circle and a small oval shape attached to each other
This will be the guide for Amy Rose's body and head.
Step 2. Sketch the position of the extremities (limbs)
Use lines and circles for this.
Step 3. Add shapes for the hands
Use lines for hands in an open position, rectangles for clenched fists.
Step 4. Sketch the face
Step 5. Add facial details like eyes, mouth and nose

You can experiment. You can add different outfits if you want.

Step 1. Sketch a large circle, and 2 smaller circles attached to each other
Step 2. Add the mouth and ears
Tails' ears are large, and his mouth occupies about a third of the head.

Use lines and circles for this.
Step 4. Add a vent for the hand
Use the circle to mark the fingertip.
Step 5. Add shapes for the socks and gloves
Look at the picture in pink.
Step 6. Sketch 2 tails using an irregular curved path
Step 7. Add the main shape of the tail
Step 8. Add feathers to the side of the mouth and draw the features of the hair
Step 9. Add the eyes
Step 10. Add another feather on each side of the chest
Step 11. Draw the basic features of Tails
Step 12. Delete the draft then add details

Method 4 of 4: Knuckles
Step 1. Sketch a large circle, a slightly smaller circle, and a slanted rectangle attached to each other
Step 2. Sketch the position of the extremities
Use rectangles (or squares) and circles. Also add a line for the tail.
Step 3. Add shapes for the hands
Step 4. Add shapes for the shoes
Draw a circle just above the shoe area for each foot.
Step 5. Sketch the hair and face
A curved triangle is used for the eyes and a series of lines for the hair and other facial features.
Step 6. Add faces
Draw the mouth, nose and eyes.
Step 7. Draw the basic features of Knuckles
You can use the Knuckles drawing as a base.
