This wikiHow teaches you how to determine if someone has blocked you on Facebook or simply removed you from their friends list. If you can't find their profile, it's possible that they blocked you or deleted their account. Unfortunately, there is no way to give 100% of the answers without contacting/asking the user directly.

Method 1 of 4: Using Facebook's Search Feature
Step 1. Open Facebook
You can tap the Facebook app icon, which resembles a white "f" on a blue background (mobile app) or visit (desktop). After logging into Facebook, you will be taken to the news feed (“News Feed”).
If you are not logged into your account, enter your email address and password before continuing
Step 2. Select the search bar
Touch or click the white box labeled " Search ".

Type in the name of the person you suspect has blocked you, then tap “ See results for [name] ” (“View results for [name]”) (mobile app) or press Enter key (desktop).

Sometimes people who blocked you or deleted their accounts will be shown in the tab “ All ” (“All”) on the search results page, but not displayed in the “tab People ”.
Step 5. Look for the user's profile in question
If you can see his profile on the tab “ People ” on the search results page, the user's profile is still active. This means, he just removes you from his friends list.
- If you can't find their profile, they may have deleted their account or blocked you from finding them. However, it's possible that he has set privacy settings that are strict enough that you can't find him on Facebook.

Step 1. Open Facebook

If you can see their name and profile picture in search results, the user hasn't blocked you.
If you can't see their name and profile picture, the user may have blocked you or deleted their account. One way to find out is to ask the friend whose page you are visiting to verify the existence of the user's account
Method 3 of 4: Using Messaging
Step 1. Go to the Facebook website
Visit You will be taken to the news feed page (“News Feed”) if you are already logged in to your account.

If you can't find the link in the sidebar under the "Facebook Profile" heading, it's possible that the user in question:

When someone blocks you, you can't reply to their messages or visit their profile.

Method 4 of 4: Ruling Out Alleged Account Deactivation
Step 1. Ask a friend who is also friends with the person in question
Once it's confirmed that you can't access the account of the user who allegedly blocked you, contact a friend who's also friends with him and ask if the user's account is still active. If it says the account is still active, there's a good chance the user has blocked you.
This is the only way to determine whether you are blocked (or not) without contacting the person directly. However, some people feel that this is an invasion of privacy
Step 2. Check other social media accounts
