This wikiHow teaches you how to download music from videos on Instagram. You can copy the URL link of any public video post on Instagram, convert it to an MP3 file using an online video downloader, and then save the audio file to your tablet, phone, or computer. You can only download videos on public profiles. Private posts cannot be downloaded.

Part 1 of 2: Copying the Post Link
Step 1. Launch Instagram on your phone or tablet
The icon is a white camera inside an orange and pink square. These apps are usually placed on the home screen, app folder, or in the app drawer.
Alternatively, you can open Instagram through a web browser on a computer or mobile device
Step 2. Find the video you want to download and convert into a music file
You can download music from any video that comes from your own profile or other users' profiles.
Make sure the video is on a public profile. Videos from personal accounts cannot be downloaded
Step 3. Tap on the three-dot icon at the top right of the post
A pop-up window will appear showing several options.
Step 4. Tap Copy Link in the pop-up menu
The video link you selected will be copied to the clipboard. This link can be used to download the music in the video.
Alternatively, open the posts one by one in a browser, then copy the link from the address bar in that browser
Part 2 of 2: Downloading Music
Step 1. Visit https://4ins.top using a web browser
This is a free third-party Instagram video download site. You can convert any Instagram video to MP3 through this site, then download the audio file to your device.
- All online download services can only be used on videos posted on public profiles. Music or videos from personal profiles cannot be downloaded.
- Alternatively, you can use another online video downloader that will convert Instagram videos to MP3 files.

Step 2. Paste the video link into the white box
Hold or right-click the white URL box on the web page, then select Paste to paste the video link.
Step 3. Tap on yellow SUBMIT
The site will search for the video, and display download options on the next page.
Step 4. Tap on convert to mp3 button
It's under the red "DOWNLOAD VIDEO" button. The video will automatically be converted into an MP3 audio file.
Step 5. Tap on the green button that says Download MP3
When the download is ready, tap or click this button to download and save the converted music video to your device.
