This wikiHow teaches you how to see a list of users who have viewed your status update on WhatsApp.

Method 1 of 2: Via iPhone
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
Tap the WhatsApp app icon, which looks like a green box with a speech bubble and a white phone in it. The WhatsApp chat page will be displayed if you are already logged in to your account.
If not, enter your phone number and verify when prompted before continuing
Step 2. Touch Status
It's a circle icon in the lower-left corner of the screen. After that, the status page will be opened.
If WhatsApp immediately displays the chat window, first tap the back button in the upper-left corner of the screen
Step 3. Touch My Status
It's at the top of the “Status” page.
Step 4. Select a status
Touch the status with the number of viewers you want to see.
Step 5. Touch the icon
It's at the bottom of the screen, just above the eye icon. Once touched, the icon will open into a list of users who have viewed your status.
- If you see a "0" next to the eye icon, no users have seen your status yet.
- Even when other people see your status right away, it may take a few minutes for the viewer count to show in the app.
Step 6. Make sure you enable the read message report option
If you don't see viewer counts, even though you know people have seen your uploaded status, you may need to turn on the read message report option:
- Touch the option “ Settings ” in the lower right corner of the screen.
- Touch " Account ”.
- Choose " Privacy ”.
- Touch the white " Read receipts " switch.
Method 2 of 2: Via Android Device
Step 1. Open WhatsApp
Tap on the WhatsApp app icon, which looks like a green box with a speech bubble and a white phone in it. The WhatsApp chat page will be displayed if you are already logged in to your account.
If not, enter your phone number and verify when prompted before continuing
Step 2. Touch the STATUS tab
This tab is at the top of the screen.
If WhatsApp immediately displays the chat window, first tap the back button in the upper-left corner of the screen
Step 3. Touch My status
It's at the top of the screen. Once touched, your status will be displayed.
If you upload multiple statuses, the first post sent in the last 24 hours will be displayed first
Step 4. Swipe up the status post
A list of users who have seen the status update will be displayed. This list is different for each status update that is in the “My Status” queue.
- If you see a "0" next to the eye icon at the bottom of the screen, no one has seen your status yet.
- Even when other people see your status right away, it may take a few minutes for the viewer count to show in the app.
Step 5. Make sure you enable the read message report option
If you don't see viewer counts, even though you know people have seen your uploaded status, you may need to turn on the read message report option:
