This wikiHow teaches you how to get started voting on Facebook events using your iPhone or iPad. This guide is intended for English speaking users of the Facebook application.

Step 1. Open the Facebook app on your iPhone or iPad
This app has a blue icon with a white “f” in it. These apps can generally be found on the home page.
Step 2. Touch
It's in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 3. Touch Events
Step 4. Touch Hosting
It's in the white bar at the top of the screen.
Step 5. Touch the event
This will open the details of the event.
Step 6. Touch the box that says Write something…
This box is above the event. The menu will appear at the bottom of the screen.
Step 7. Touch Post in Event
This button is at the bottom of the list. This will redirect you to a new upload page with several options at the bottom of the screen.
Step 8. Swipe up the menu
Swipe up from the bottom of the screen menu (Camera, GIF, Photo/Video, etc.). This will bring up a new upload option.
Step 9. Swipe down and select Poll
It's at the bottom of the menu. Look for a green circle with three vertical lines in it.
Step 10. Enter your question in the box labeled “Ask a question”
This is a question that will be answered by other users.
Step 11. Enter the answer options in the “Option” box
This is a box labeled “Option 1,” “Option 2,” etc.
Step 12. Select an option from the “Poll Ends” menu
This menu is below the voting options. This will determine when the voting will end.
If you don't want voting to end, select never on the menu.
Step 13. Touch Post
It's in the upper-right corner of the screen. This button will start voting on the event page. Other users can view the vote and select the available options until the voting ends.
