This wikiHow teaches you how to use a free app called Musixmatch to display song lyrics on Spotify.

Method 1 of 2: Windows
Step 1. Open the Windows Store app
You can get Musixmatch for free from the Windows Store app. To open the app, type store into the search bar, then click “ Microsoft Store ” in the search results.
Step 2. Type musixmatch into the search bar
A list of matching search results will be displayed.
Step 3. Click Musixmatch Lyrics & Music Player
A red icon with a triangle stacked in it will be displayed.
Step 4. Click Get
If you have used this application before, click " Install " The application will be installed to the computer.
Step 5. Open Musixmatch
You can see this application in the “ All Apps ” in the “Start” menu. The main Musixmatch screen/window will be opened. In this window, the song lyrics from Spotify will be displayed.
If the Windows Store window is still open, you can open the program by clicking the “ Launch ”.
Step 6. Open Spotify
This program is shown in the “ All Apps ” on the “Start” menu.
Step 7. Play the song on Spotify
A few seconds after the song starts playing, the lyrics will be displayed in the Musixmatch window.
Method 2 of 2: macOS
Step 1. Visit https://about.musixmatch.com/apps via a web browser
You can download the Musixmatch app for free to view the lyrics of your favorite songs on Spotify.
Step 2. Click Download the Desktop app
The app will then be downloaded to the Mac computer.
If ad blocker extensions are enabled, you may need to turn them off before you can start the download. You don't have to worry because this download is safe
Step 3. Double-click the installation file
This file is stored in the “Downloads” folder. The file name starts with the word “Musixmatch” and ends with the extension “.dmg.”
Step 4. Verify the installation
You may need to verify your installation first, depending on the version of macOS you're using. To verify:

Click menu
Macapple1 - Click " System Preferences ”.
- Click " Security & Privacy ”.
- Click the padlock icon and enter the administrator password.
- Click " Allow ” for the “Musixmatch” entry.
Step 5. Drag the Musixmatch icon to the “Applications” folder
Wait a few seconds for the program to be copied to the folder.
Step 6. Open Musixmatch
Double-click the Musixmatch icon in the “Applications” folder to open it. After that, the Musixmatch window will open. Later this window will display the lyrics of the song.
Step 7. Open Spotify
The program is marked by an icon of three black curved lines on a green background in the “ Applications ”.
Step 8. Play songs on Spotify
A few seconds after the song starts, the lyrics will be displayed in the Musixmatch window.
