Frozen yogurt is a delicious snack that tastes like ice cream, but doesn't contain as much sugar or calories as ice cream. To make frozen yogurt, all you need is yogurt, other ingredients such as fruit, sugar or chocolate chips, and an ice cream maker. If you want to know how to make your own frozen yogurt, follow these steps.
Ingredients
Low Fat Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
- 1 1/2 cups plain fresh milk yogurt
- 2 1/2 cups plain low-fat Greek yogurt
- 1 vanilla bean
- 1/2 cup of granulated sugar
- 3 tbsp honey
- 1 kiwi diced
- 1/2 cup raspberries
Blueberry Frozen Yogurt
- 3 cups blueberries
- 3 tbsp lemon juice
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/8 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt
- 1/2 cup fresh milk
Peach Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
- 1 container (2 measuring cups) greek yogurt
- 1⅓ cups (combined) strawberry puree and peach puree
- cup (combination) of diced strawberries and peaches
- measuring cup plus 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
Peppermint Chocolate Frozen Yogurt
- 4 tbsp. powdered gelatin
- 1 cup fresh milk
- 1 cup of granulated sugar
- 510 ml plain greek yogurt
- 1 tsp. peppermint extract
- green food coloring
- 1 cup chocolate chips

Method 1 of 4: Low Fat Vanilla Frozen Yogurt
Step 1. Mix the vanilla seeds with the sugar
Slice the vanilla fruit lengthwise with a thin knife, and remove the seeds. Then mix with cup of granulated sugar.
Step 2. Stir the yogurt, sugar and honey in a bowl
Stir in 1 1/2 cups plain fresh milk yogurt, 2 1/2 cups low-fat plain yogurt, and 3 tablespoons. honey in a bowl until well mixed.
Step 3. Pour all the ingredients into the ice cream maker
Follow the manufacturer's instructions on how to turn frozen yogurt into ice cream.
Step 4. Freeze
Place the ice cream in the refrigerator until frozen.
Step 5. Serve
Remove the ice cream from the refrigerator and sprinkle with the diced kiwi and 1/2 cup raspberries.
Method 2 of 4: Blueberry Frozen Yogurt
Step 1. Put blueberries, lemon juice, sugar, salt and cinnamon in a saucepan
Place 3 cups blueberries, 3 tablespoons lemon juice, 3/4 cup sugar, 1/4 tsp salt, and 1/8 tsp cinnamon in a saucepan.
Step 2. Heat the ingredients over medium heat until the sugar dissolves
Keep stirring until smooth.
Step 3. Mash the blueberries with a potato crusher
Do this while the solution is heated. When finished, let the ingredients cool for 10 minutes.
Step 4. Put yogurt and milk in a saucepan
Add 1 1/2 cups plain yogurt and 1/2 cup fresh milk until well blended.
Step 5. Put the mixture in the refrigerator to cool
Step 6. Put the blueberry yogurt mixture in the ice cream maker for 25 minutes

Step 7. Serve
You can enjoy frozen yogurt right away or freeze it for a few hours.
Method 3 of 4: Frozen Strawberry Peach Yogurt
Step 1. Mix the fruit puree, sugar and lemon juice in a large bowl
Place 1⅓ cups of strawberry and peach puree (combination), cup of sugar and 1 tbsp of lemon juice in a large bowl.
Step 2. Add the yogurt to the pan
Put about two cups of greek yogurt in a saucepan and mix well.
Step 3. Refrigerate the ingredients for 3-4 hours
Place the ingredients in the refrigerator until cold.
Step 4. Stir in the diced fruit and remaining sugar
Stir in cup diced strawberries and peaches and 1 tsp sugar and refrigerate until ready to use. You can do this step while the other ingredient is cooling.
Step 5. Put the yogurt mixture into the ice cream maker
Follow the tool's instructions. It's about 30 minutes.
Step 6. Put the diced fruit in the middle of the process
So after 15 minutes in the process. You can enter while the tool is still on.
Step 7. Freeze
Freeze yogurt 3-4 hours or overnight.
Step 8. Serve
Enjoy this delicious frozen yogurt as a dessert or a morning snack.
Method 4 of 4: Chocolate Peppermint Frozen Yogurt
Step 1. Sprinkle 4 tablespoons of powdered gelatin over 1/2 cup of fresh milk
Step 2. Put another 1/2 cup fresh milk and 1 cup sugar in a small saucepan to bring to a boil
Heat over high heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
Step 3. Pour the hot solution over the gelatin solution
Stir the ingredients until the gelatin is completely dissolved.
Step 4. Add the yogurt to the gelatin solution
Spoon plain Greek yogurt into the gelatin solution and mix well.
Step 5. Add 1 tsp of peppermint extract to the solution
This will give a menthol flavor that complements the chocolate chip.
Step 6. Add a few drops of green food coloring to the mixture
Add one drop at a time, beating until you get the color you want. You can make the color lighter or lighter, depending on the amount of dye.
Step 7. Pour the solution into the ice cream maker
Process and freeze ingredients according to machine instructions. It usually takes 25-30 minutes for the solution to solidify and soften.
Step 8. Put 1 cup of small chocolate chips into the solution about 5 minutes before you stop the machine
Step 9. Serve
