Clash of Clans is a fun and dynamic game in which players can build villages and attack other players' villages. You can also team up in clans with other players, which makes the game fun and has a cooperative element. You can also donate troops to other members in your clan, receive troop donations from them to attack or defend, and dominate the game. To form a good clan, you may have to lead a clan. Do you feel worthy to be a clan leader?
Step
Part 1 of 4: Forming a Clan
Step 1. Play long enough before creating your own clan
It's not recommended that you create a clan before you're proficient enough, around level 60. If you're not advanced enough, no player will want to join, and you'll just be bullied and laughed at. This is an unfortunate part of the Clash of Clans community, but you can avoid cyber bullying by joining a clan to get started and build your status. Once you've learned the basics of the game and become a fairly proficient player, form your own clan, then come up with a plan to dominate the world of Clash of Clans and put that plan into action.
One good basic rule to follow is to form a clan when you have Town Hall level 7 or 8. Since you are a clan leader, your defenses should look strong by featuring large Mortars and lots of other supplies. When the Town Hall is level 7 or 8, many new things are unlocked, such as the Barbarian King, which makes you a stronger and more interesting leader
Step 2. Decide what type of clan you want to form
Basically, there are three types of clans - Hardcore, Farming, and Casual. It's much easier to make clan plans and get people interested in becoming members of your new clan if you have a plan for how your clan works and your general strategy.
- The Hardcore clan, better known as the Trophy Pushing clan, is a designation for a clan that is at constant war. Most Hardcore clans are always fighting without rest and never stopping, so be prepared to spend a lot of precious time.
- The Farming clan is generally the opposite of the Hardcore clan. Farming clans rarely fight and "as the name suggests", they only farm constantly. The point of joining a Farming clan is to get high-level troops that can be used for farming.
- Casual or Hybrid clans are basically just a combination of Hardcore and Farming clans. The Casual clan fights often, but not always, and farms when not fighting.
Step 3. Choose a good clan name. In order to get new members into your clan, you have to choose a clan name that will appeal to people so as to make them choose to join your clan over other clans when they are looking for a clan they want to join. A unique name is a name that appears alone when someone searches for a particular word, so it's important to avoid words that are widely used or common types of words when naming clans.
- Try to use a new and fun name, and avoid boring clan names like "The Clash Clan" or "The Great Clan" or "Ducks are Cool". No, thank you.
- Look at the most popular clan names, then come up with a very different name, for example one that is similar to the name of the pirate clan of the Vikings. Try a powerful, specific name, such as "Witchsmoke" or "Dragon Eye." "Green Valkyries"? that's a great idea.
Step 4. Make a nice symbol for your clan
Try to use symbols that match the clan name. For example, if your clan name is Fireworks Ahead, then use a symbol with a red background and orange stripes. Make sure that your symbols are memorable and striking so that others can recognize them right away. A good symbol can be a major factor in attracting the attention of new recruits and haunting opponents with fear.
Step 5. Add a compelling clan description
Take the time to write a friendly clan bio. In your clan bio, you can describe your clan. For example, if you want to become a Trophy Hunting clan, then write that down in your bio. If you want to form a friendly clan or a Farming clan, then write it down in your bio. You should fill out the clan description completely enough, so that there is something suitable for potential members, but don't write it too long and make casual players not want to join.
Some players choose to write the clan rules in the bio description, while there are also other players who choose to explain the rules through clan members. It all depends on your choice as the clan leader
Part 2 of 4: Gathering Members
Step 1. Set up a clan so everyone can join
At first, you will find it difficult to find enough members in the time you have available, but your patience and persistence will pay off later. The best way to fill a clan with members is to set the clan to "Anyone Can Join", so anyone can join and become a member without going through the screening process first. Your clan will be filled with lots of poor quality members, but you can always get them out.
Most likely, your clan will only have five to ten members for a while, depending on the order of champions of your clan. The higher the ranking of the clan champions, the easier it will be for you to invite others to join. If you're having a hard time getting members, be patient and slowly gather up to 20 members while leveling up your clan, which is usually a breaking point. Many people will start joining and you will soon have a clan of 50 members
Step 2. Accept strong members
Once you start your clan with a good foundation, you can change your settings and start accepting strong players who can improve the quality of your clan. Make sure that the player you accept has a strong enough village and enough points. If you allow everyone to enter, then the number limit will be reached and the clan will not be in the high ranking of champions. It's better to start a small clan with good players than a large clan filled with new players looking to join the clan.
Some players will start by offering elder status to the first few members, while for some, this is a bad way. This method often attracts the attention of "hoppers", or players who only join temporarily and become inactive. It's better if you only accept and promote strong players who can improve the quality of your clan, not abandon them
Step 3. Use global chat to search for members
You will find many players who have not yet joined the clan. Invite them and ask them to join your clan by explaining the purpose of the clan and the benefits of joining your clan.
- Invite as many players from your trophy league as possible to make the best and biggest possible start. If necessary, you can also invite your real-life friends to join you before they scatter. It would be nice if you could fight with your friends.
- Try not to recruit hoppers or people who only have a negative influence on the clan, unless you're really short on members. Most people in the global chat want Elder or Co-Leader status within the clan, and this can make the game less fun because they can mistreat opposing players using their power.
Step 4. Try advertising your clan
Advertising your clan in YouTube comment streams, message boards, and other types of chat to attract attention and gain new members is common. If you are the clan leader, your job is to advertise the clan and get new members. You could also consider a rule, which is that every newly joined member must advertise the clan in several places so that information about your clan continues to spread and new members continue to join regularly.
Step 5. Get rid of the insolent people in the clan
Clash of Clans is supposed to be a fun game, and if you've gone to the trouble of starting your own clan, you'll want to make sure it's filled with people who are fun and good at the game, not a bunch of brash and inexperienced people who will only make other people are lazy to play. If any member is annoying other members, inconsistent, or breaking the rules, then remove that member from the clan.
Part 3 of 4: Strengthening the Clan
Step 1. Write down strict, but good rules for the clan
Rules are very important within the clan so that all members have the same mindset and you have a concrete reason to kick out a bad member. Give a warning that anyone who violates the rules will be expelled, then follow up with concrete actions if there are members who do. Allowing a violation to occur once will ensure that it will be committed another time. You have to strictly enforce the rules.
- Ensure that the rules are enforceable and specific. Saying that you're going to kick out a "lazy" member is hard to understand, and can undermine your authority if someone defines lazy differently from someone else. Make specific rules and warnings.
- The general rule is no abusive speech, every player must use both opportunities they have to attack, and all members must join at certain times for clan wars to be successful.
Step 2. Develop a strong defensive strategy
All good clans had one thing in common: a strong defensive array. Set up defenses first, then make sure that all resource reservoirs are properly protected. The Mortar must be near the Town Hall and the Cannon must be outside the Mortar. Make sure that you only attack villages that you can defeat. The single player missions provide an unreasonable amount of money when compared to the resources you have to spend to complete them.
Place weapon buildings and walls around the most valuable buildings. You can also put walls around the fort to strengthen the defense when you are attacked by other people. You can place Army camps, Barracks, and Builder Huts around defensive buildings, and remember to take the time to constantly upgrade your buildings
Step 3. Promote members wisely
It's important to promote members once in a while, as members will get tired of playing in your clan and want to be part of another group with greater responsibility if you don't. Promote members to Elder if they are active and honest and have been in the clan for at least a month. Promote Elders to Co-Leader again if they can be trusted or if you know them in real life. Give some tasks to members who have been promoted.
- Don't give out promotions for free, unless you're really short on members. Some pranksters like to join clans and become Co-Leader, then kick everyone out. It is not fun. Make sure that you only give promotions to people you know in real life to reduce the risk of a coup d'etat.
- Remove inactive members. Remove members who are inactive and do not participate in clan wars for 2 to 3 times in a row or do not contribute troops.
Step 4. Set up a good troop donation system
Ask members to donate a minimum number of troops in one week and donate troops equal to the troops they received to meet clan expectations.
Step 5. Start a war you can win
The most important thing in leading a clan is to properly organize clan wars. If your clan is beaten to a pulp, many members will leave and look for other clans. There's nothing more fun than beating your opponent's clan to ruins and you can order your members to loot (the process of attacking just for the sake of getting riches, not looking for war stars), so that all members get a wealth bonus of up to 600 thousand.
Some of the things you can do are communicate effectively to plan together before fighting, tell all clan members to take two attacking opportunities, and some more specific strategy planning
Part 4 of 4: Be a Good Leader
Step 1. Be a chat leader
Be a friendly leader and discuss clan rules with members as well as other things, such as sports. Ask all members to use a specific messaging app, such as GroupMe, so that all members can discuss clan wars without having to enter the in-game chat. A messaging app can be a helpful tool in leading.
Make sure that you listen to input from clans too, especially from Elders. Try your best to reach an agreement, but don't forget that it's you who will make the final decision, if that's necessary
Step 2. Lead the clan by example
You will lose members quickly if you don't practice what you teach. If you have a rule against harsh words, but you keep saying it, then rebellion is imminent. Show yourself at the right time, do things according to your words, and follow the rules you have set to show yourself as a good leader.
Step 3. Decide whether you want to appoint a Co-Leader or not
Some players have strict rules that prohibit the appointment of other players as Co-Leader and choose to hold absolute power within the clan. By implementing a rule like this, you can eliminate the possibility of a coup d'etat, which is a case of someone taking over the clan and expelling everyone to start the clan from scratch. As another option, some players thought that raising three or four trusted Co-Leaders who were only 10 levels apart could be a good clan governance strategy.
If you choose to raise a Co-Leader, make sure that you've played with them for a long time and have donated enough troops to the clan. Write this down into rules so everyone is clear on how promotions work
Step 4. Be an active and supportive leader
In order for a clan to stay alive, you must be active. Try to play every day and check the clan well.
Provide constructive feedback. After warning, replay attacks that didn't work well, then provide members with feedback on more effective ways to do so. For example, if someone uses an army filled with P. E. K. K. A, tell them to try an army filled with dragons as it will be more effective
Step 5. Be patient
Your clan won't directly attack other clans and dominate the game for just fifteen minutes. You have to be prepared for a long period of time and wait while gathering new members. Give your clan time and focus on building effective fortifications and gaining new clan members before you rush into anything else. Starting wars is fun, but that's not the case if you haven't built an effective fortress and have enough members to make the war worthwhile.
Don't rush to upgrade Town Hall. New players tend to rush to upgrade the Town Hall, so mistakes early in the game can have a bad impact at the end of the game. Instead of rushing, upgrade all the buildings in the shop, then level up the Town Hall when you're done
Tips
- Give promotions to members who donate a lot and are active
- Winning clan wars will help you gain clan experience, so that clan levels can be increased.
- Provide members with suggestions on upgrades and building strategies.
- Be an active leader and keep recruiting new members. This way, your clan will grow rapidly.
- Inviting friends into your clan is the best way to grow your clan.
- Look for high level players. They would probably cooperate very well within the clan.
- Use a good and unique name to be attractive to others.
- Try to be an interesting person and always encourage clan members.
- If your clan becomes very famous, create a clan "feeder" (branch) to house less skilled players so that they can grow in it to compete with your clan.
- Before making assumptions about a clan member, make sure you always check their profile for donations, experience levels, and other information about the member.
- Try to make your clan international. Make sure that the people you recruit are from different parts of the world, so that your clan can keep up with developments.
- Also, use stickers in global chats when you invite other players to look more mature.
- Use stickers in the clan description to attract the attention of other players.
- It would be better if you sent a clan letter with proper content every day.
- Determine how often you will chase trophies and do farming.
Warning
- Don't make all the Co-Leader members - your Clan will be rowdy and unprofessional.
- Never give promotions to untrustworthy or inactive members.
- Make sure that you don't spam the global chat when advertising your clan, or your account will be deleted.
- Never exclude important, trusted, or active members.
