Everyone wants to make a good impression on their teachers without resorting to complicated or difficult methods. Work on learning the behaviors that your teacher expects you to do, so that you can behave well, succeed, and make your presence in class like the teacher.

Method 1 of 3: Be a Fun Student
Step 1. Try to put yourself in your teacher's shoes
What would it be like if you had to stand in front of a class filled with a large group of naughty, impatient, noisy students eight hours a day, every day? You may also expect them to calm down and do their job. If you want to become a teacher's favorite student, try to imagine how he or she feels on a day-to-day basis so you can get clues about how to behave.
Make things easier for your teacher. Don't let your teacher work harder than they should. Every time you ask your teacher for permission, ask for help, or anything else, this is extra work for them. Try to lighten their task
Step 2. Get to know your teacher's personality
There is no one way that can please all your teachers, because every teacher is different from each other. Some are kind, cheerful, and friendly, while others look like old school superintendents who are grumpy. Try to identify who your teachers are, what they like, and what makes them happy so you can understand them better.
- If your teacher is fierce, there's no point in looking for face. Focus on your assignment, study more and do what's expected, don't try to look your best in class.
- If your teacher is friendly, they usually value more students speaking up in class. If you want your teacher to like you, try to talk more in class and do your best.
Step 3. Know how to behave
Contrary to what you might expect, teachers don't like students who like to take advantage of other people, make faces, or complain. Be aware that the student you think is the "teacher's favorite child" in class may not be the teacher's favorite student.
You don't have to be the student who talks the most or asks the most questions. You only need to contribute at certain times and keep the atmosphere in your class positive
Step 4. Be a creative student
If you want to do more, put a creative touch to your work so that you deserve to stand out from the crowd and be a fun, creative, and likable student. Think of creative ways to complete assignments, or do assignments in class differently than your friends. Try your best and do more than what is asked.
Just imagine: your teacher has to sit down to grade twenty, fifty, even hundreds of test sheets or assignments in the evening. How boring it would be if everything was exactly the same. But if you can incorporate a little bit of your unique personality and creativity into your work (as long as you follow the instructions and do the work you're supposed to) many teachers will love it
Step 5. State your stand
Be honest during school. As you get older and finish school, teachers will appreciate their students taking a stand for thinking, not just repeating what they've heard. You will be more appreciated if you can always show yourself as a creative and determined person.
Taking a stand doesn't mean being a class troublemaker. You won't get anything if you don't want to finish your homework
Step 6. Say thank you for what your teacher has done
At some point during your schooling, you will have to choose a teacher you particularly like to say "thank you" to. Being a teacher means working hard and they will appreciate the rewards you give them.
- In some cases, a small gift would be more appropriate as a thank you, but some teachers will refuse if the gift looks a bit excessive, expensive, or extravagant. Gifts shouldn't sound like bribes.
- In certain cultures, it is a good practice to invite your teacher to dinner with your family. Sending out an invitation is a polite way of saying thank you.
Method 2 of 3: Maintaining Behavior during Lessons
Step 1. Pay attention to your teacher
The best way to get your teacher to like you is to pay attention in class. If you always pay close attention and listen to your teacher, it will be easier for you to understand the lesson and complete your assignment as best as you can.
- If you are having trouble understanding a lesson, talk to your parents and teacher. It may be because the material is less challenging for you or there are behavioral issues that need to be addressed so that you can achieve your best.
- While it's nice to sit next to your friends, go out with them at recess, on the bus, and during class changes, it's best not to do it while in class so you don't get provoked into joking. You can miss important things during the lesson.
Step 2. Follow the instructions from your teacher
While you're at school, you have to do your homework as quickly and quietly as possible. If it's time for a break and lunch, it doesn't mean you have to joke with a friend on the bench next door or do silly things. Listen and follow your teacher's instructions.
Follow the teacher's instructions when you are not in class. If you have to read a chapter of a book for tomorrow's lesson, do so. Don't avoid assignments thinking you'll still be liked by the teacher because you're friendly. Do your job
Step 3. Be respectful
You must be respectful and kind not only to the teacher, but to everyone else in the class, and treat them as you would like to be treated.
- Don't talk in class if the timing isn't right. Your teacher doesn't like inappropriate distractions.
- Some children think they will be liked if they can upset their teacher, but this is not a respectful attitude for anyone, especially for their teacher.
Step 4. Contribute to the class in a positive way
If you are in class, try to do more than just sit still and pay attention. Often times, your teacher will ask students to volunteer, or give the group a chance to ask questions, so you need to know when it's a good time to express your opinion. Try your best to keep the class atmosphere positive.
- Participate in small group work politely. When you have to form a group, do your homework to support the completion of the group work, instead of causing trouble, interrupting, or just sitting around waiting for the other students to work.
- If there are other students nearby who are acting a lot or chatting, you don't need to worry about them, but provide support so that class activities can continue by focusing on completing your assignments. Don't let your attention be distracted.
Step 5. Keep your desk tidy
Keep your self-respect by arranging study desks, lockers, places to put clothes in the wardrobe, and every place you can use in class so that they are always neat and clean. Your teachers are not your parents, and they won't ask you to clean up on a regular basis. There's no better way to make your teacher dislike you than to wreak havoc in the classroom.
Method 3 of 3: Doing Good Things at School
Step 1. Complete your assignments on time
During the lesson, focus your attention and do the assignments you have to complete in class as best you can, follow the instructions given, then turn in your assignment. The way to make your teacher happy doesn't need to be more complicated than this.
- Provide enough time if you have homework to do so that you can complete this task properly. Finishing homework at the last minute before you turn in is the easiest way to upset your teacher.
- Under no circumstances should you ever cheat or copy answers from your friends in class. This will only bring you trouble.
Step 2. Join the class discussion
Teachers will like students joining in when they have to discuss in groups, not just sitting at the back pensive. Ask smart or helpful questions. Show that you are paying attention when your teacher is speaking.

Step 3. Be yourself
This should be easy. As you walk into the classroom and interact with your teacher, try to make yourself comfortable and be yourself. If you pretend to be someone you're not, your teacher will find out. Don't try to be the teacher's favorite student, the most knowledgeable, or the coolest in school. Be who you are.
Teachers are just like anyone else: they want people to be sincere, kind, and genuine. Don't pretend to get attention and hope you'll be liked by the teachers
Step 4. Give your best when you do the task
Study hard in school and submit only your best work. If your teacher thinks you can do better on your assignments, they won't be happy if you don't try harder. Don't have an impression like this. Make an earnest effort to make time to get your job done really well. Show your strengths through the homework you complete.
If you are having trouble following a lesson, tell your teacher that you want to learn better and ask for help. Many schools have after-school study groups to do homework, study together, and other ways you can get more done, if you're willing to put in the effort. Teachers value students who are willing to put in the effort
Tips
- Don't let yourself be blamed, but don't deny the truth. Honesty is the best policy.
- Also convince your teacher that you want to be involved. Don't be the quietest person, but don't be the loudest either.
- Don't disrespect your teachers by treating them as if they were your father or mother.
- Don't overdo it all at once. Your teachers may think that you have a point, or they may see that you don't mean it and know your intentions.
- If you have a problem with your teacher, discuss this after the lesson. Also talk to your parents.
