Step 2. Combine the cake flour, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup vegetable oil in a large bowl

If you are using an unflavored cake flour such as yellow or white, add 1 tsp. (5 g) vanilla. Stir with a large spoon.

Use your creativity! Spice cake, Red Velvet, and Devil's Food also make great pastries

Step 3. Mix in the chocolate chips or nuts if desired

These all make your cookies look like they're homemade -- add something you think will be delicious.

Mini peanut butter, M&Ms, sprinkles, cranberries, or coconut, all of these can add deliciousness to the cake

Step 4. Pour a teaspoon of the mixture into the pan, about a dozen cookies per pan

When baking the cookies will expand, so leave some space between each cookie.

If desired, sprinkle before baking. The sprinkles will retain their color and shape. You don't need to decorate for these sprinkles

Step 5. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes

If the cake does not cook evenly, turn the cake over halfway through cooking.

Step 6. Let it cool and then remove the cake pan using a spatula

Place on a wire rack to cool completely. Give it a layer of garnish that blends well with the pastries.
