Creamy corn sauce is a specialty dish from the southern United States with a variety of different recipes. Most recipes use cream or milk for a creamy texture, but there are also recipes that use bacon. While this isn't a healthy dish, creamed corn is a great addition to fried chicken or roast pork.

- 230 grams cream cheese

- 12 pieces of corn
- 2 cups of water
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives

Method 1 of 4: Making Southern Typical Creamy Corn
Step 1. Peel the corn
Use a paring knife or a special corn knife. Squeeze the cob also to remove the juices into the bowl. You can use a knife to squeeze out the cornstarch.
Step 2. Mix dry ingredients
Combine sugar and flour in a small bowl. Also add salt and pepper then add the corn and stir until blended.
Step 3. Pour all the wet ingredients
Add cream and water to the corn mixture and mix until smooth.
Step 4. Put the bacon oil in the pan
Put the oil in a frying pan and heat it on medium heat. Add the corn mixture and reduce the heat.
- It's a bit difficult to find a substitute for smoked meat oil because of its unique taste. To make oil, cook 2 pieces of bacon. Smoked meat oil comes from meat fat that melts when cooked.
- You can replace the bacon oil by adding butter. Then, add 1-2 tablespoons of Parmesan cheese and a little liquid smoke to add to the smoked aroma of the meat. You can also add a little powdered smoked paprika instead of liquid smoke.
Step 5. Cook the corn dough for 30 minutes
Heat corn mixture until thickened, then add butter before serving.
Method 2 of 4: Making Simple Creamy Corn with Smoked Meat
Step 1. Peel the corn
Use a paring knife or a special corn knife.
Step 2. Cut the bacon into squares
Use a sharp knife to cut the bacon. You can also use kitchen shears to cut the meat.
Step 3. Heat the bacon in a large skillet

Beat cream and flour with an egg beater. Then, let it simmer for 1 minute.
Step 6. Blend 2 cups of corn dough
Puree the corn mixture in a blender. Be careful when pouring the corn mixture into the blender as the mixture is quite hot.
Step 7. Pour the blended corn mixture back into the pan
Stir until smooth then leave for 5 minutes.
Step 8. Chop the chives
Add to corn mixture. Then, add salt and pepper to taste.
Step 9. Done
Tips
- Invite the children to help peel the corn.
- Be careful when shelling the corn. Peel the corn in a unidirectional motion from top to bottom. This will help cut the ends of the corn so that the surface of the corn becomes more even to make the peeling process easier.
