This wikiHow teaches you how to download videos from Dailymotion to your computer, phone, or tablet. If you use the Dailymotion app on an Android, iPhone, or iPad device, you can easily download most videos directly through the app. If you're using a computer, you'll need a video download service like TubeOffline or KeepOffline.

Method 1 of 3: Using Dailymotion App on Phone or Tablet
Step 1. Install the Dailymotion app
If you already have the Dailymotion app on your phone or tablet, you can use it to download your favorite videos for offline viewing. This application can be downloaded for free from App Store (iPhone/iPad) or Play Store (Android).
Step 2. Open Dailymotion
This app is marked by a white icon with a black “d” inside. Usually you can find this icon on the home screen (iPhone/iPad) or page/app drawer (Android).
Step 3. Find the video you want to download
If the video is already open, you can skip this step. Otherwise, tap the magnifying glass icon at the bottom of the screen, enter a search keyword, and tap a video to open it.
Some videos cannot be downloaded from Dailymotion. If you want to download a blocked video, you will receive an error message during the conversion process
Step 4. Touch •••
It's in the lower-right corner of the video window.
Step 5. Touch Watch Offline
The video will be downloaded to your phone or tablet. Once done, you should see a confirmation message at the top of the screen.
- If you're not signed into your account yet, you'll see a message at the top of the screen instructing you to sign in to your account first. Touch the button “ Sign in ” and log in using your Facebook, Google or account email address and password.
- After logging in, touch the button “ ••• " and select " Watch Offline ”.
Step 6. Touch the down arrow icon to minimize the video window
It's in the top-left corner of the screen. You will be taken back to the main Dailymotion page.
Step 7. Touch Library
It's in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 8. Touch Watch Offline
It's at the top of the screen. In this segment, you can find all the videos that have been downloaded to watch offline.
Step 9. Touch the video to watch it
You can watch the video at any time, regardless of internet network availability.
The downloaded videos will be stored on your phone or tablet for 30 days, but after that you can download the videos again if you want
Method 2 of 3: Using KeepOffline on a Computer
Step 1. Open the Dailymotion video via a web browser
You can search for videos on DailyMotion.com by typing a search keyword in the search bar (at the top of the screen) and clicking the magnifying glass icon to perform a search.
When using KeepOffline, you cannot download some music videos from Dailymotion
Step 2. Copy the video link
Mark the video's address in the address bar at the top of your browser window, then press Ctrl+C (PC) or Command+C (Mac).

If the URL ends in "?playlist", followed by a few letters and numbers (e.g. ?playlist=x6b02c), remove the question mark and the entry after it before the URL is copied.
For example, if the URL you get is https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x74lloo?playlist=x6bo2c, delete ?playlist=x6bo2c
Step 3. Visit https://www.keepoffline.com via a web browser
Step 4. Click the text field
This white column is at the top of the page.
Step 5. Press Ctrl+V (PC) or Command+V (Mac).
The copied URL will be pasted into the field.
Step 6. Click Download
It's a blue button to the right of the text field.
Step 7. Click the Download link
It's a red button next to the preview window showing the various download formats. Click the desired format and quality to download the video to your computer.
You may need to select a save location or confirm the download first, depending on your browser settings
Method 3 of 3: Using TubeOffline on Computer
Step 1. Open the Dailymotion video via a web browser
You can search for videos on DailyMotion.com by typing a search keyword in the search bar (at the top of the screen) and clicking the magnifying glass icon to perform a search.
Step 2. Stop the video
If the video is playing, click the video window to display the control buttons and click the snooze or pause button.
Step 3. Mark the URL on the address bar
This bar is usually at the top of the browser window.
Step 4. Press Command+C. key (Mac) or Control+C (PC).
The URL will be copied to the computer clipboard.
Step 5. Visit www.tubeoffline.com/download-DailyMotion-videos.php
This free website will convert Dailymotion videos to a format you can download.
Step 6. Click the section in the "video URL" field
This column is in the middle of the page.
Step 7. Press Command+V. key (Mac) or Ctrl+V (PC).
The copied URL will be pasted into the field.
Step 8. Remove "?playlist=xxxxx" from the URL
If the pasted URL ends with "?playlist", followed by a few letters and numbers (e.g. ?playlist=x6b02c), remove the question mark and the entry after it.
For example, if the URL you get is https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x74lloo?playlist=x6bo2c, delete ?playlist=x6bo2c
Step 9. Select options from the "Quality" and "Convert to" menus
The default options that are selected are generally accessible to everyone, but you can make adjustments if you wish.
Step 10. Click GET video
It's an orange button next to the URL field.
Step 11. Enable bookmarks or favorite website bar
If you've seen a toolbar showing a bookmark button at the top of your browser, you can skip this step. Otherwise, follow these steps to enable it:
- Safari: Click the menu “ View ” at the top of the screen, then select “ Show Favorites Bar ”.
- Chrome: Click the menu “ ⁝" in the upper right corner of the browser window, select " Bookmarks, and click " Show bookmarks bar ”.
- Firefox: Click the menu “ ≡" in the upper right corner of the window, select " Customize ”, click the drop-down menu “ Toolbars ” at the bottom, then select “ Bookmarks Toolbar ”.
Step 12. Drag DL with TubeOffline to your favorite site's bookmarks or toolbar
This text is in the gray column, under the " STEP 1 " heading on the page. Follow these steps:
- Hover over the option " DL with TubeOffline ”.
- Click and drag the box upwards to the toolbar at the top of the browser.
- Release your finger to drop the link to the toolbar. Now you can see the button “ DL with TubeOffline ” on the toolbar.
Step 13. Click the URL under "STEP 2"
You may need to swipe the screen slightly to see it. The video will open in a new tab.
Step 14. Click the DL with TubeOffline button
The link will open in a new browser window.
Step 15. Click Go to TubeOffline download page
This orange link is in a box. The video will be converted into a downloadable format. Once the conversion process is complete, you will see a preview window, as well as some download links.
Some videos are encoded in a special format that cannot be converted. If you don't see the video preview window, it's possible that the selected video won't download
Step 16. Click DOWNLOAD next to the version of the video you want to download
The video will be downloaded to the computer in the selected format.
- You may need to select a folder and click “ Save ” to start the download, depending on your browser settings.
- If the video opens in a new browser tab after the link is clicked, select the “ ⁝" in the lower right corner of the video window, then click " Download ” to save the video to the computer.
