This type of mayonnaise seasoning can be replaced with the ingredients in the old recipe. This mayonnaise condiment can be paired with most foods such as meats, sandwiches, salads, and more. Here's how to make aioli.
Ingredients
Basic Aioli
- 2 egg yolks
- 2-8 cloves of garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 300 ml olive oil
- Pepper, freshly ground
Aioli Moster
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 clove minced garlic
- 1 cup (240 ml) olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of water
- Lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
Eggless Aioli
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 4 cloves garlic, peeled
- Lemon juice from 1/4 lemon
- 1/2 cup olive oil, extra pure
Step
Method 1 of 3: Basic Aioli
Step 1. Place all ingredients except oil in a blender or food processor
Season with pepper to taste.
Step 2. Mix or process briefly until smooth and creamy
Step 3. Gradually pour in the oil
Leave the blender on, and pour the oil through the funnel. Continue until the mixture thickens. The mixture will look pale and shiny.
If the mixture becomes too thick, thin it with a little boiling water
Step 4. Transfer to a serving bowl
Taste to see if it's seasoned well. Make adjustments if needed.
Step 5. Cover and refrigerate until needed
Can last up to 3 days.
Method 2 of 3: Aioli Moster
Step 1. Use a whisk to mix the egg yolks, Dijon mustard, and salt together in a bowl
Wait for the yellow and the mustard to form a ribbon. Add the garlic and continue to beat.
Step 2. Slowly pour the olive oil into the mixture, and continue to beat as you pour
Beat for about 5 minutes to allow the mixture to completely combine. Slowly pour into the water to create a consistency as it thickens.
Step 3. Add a pinch of salt and pepper and pour the lemon juice into the bowl
Store in the refrigerator until ready to use.
Method 3 of 3: Eggless Aioli
Step 1. Put the garlic cloves and salt in a food processor
Destroy it.
Step 2. Transfer to a ceramic or glass bowl
Step 3. Add 1/4 cup olive oil slowly
Shake when pouring to form an emulsion.
Step 4. Add lemon juice and beat
Then add the remaining oil while still whisking to combine.
Step 5. Transfer to a ceramic serving plate
If not using immediately, cover and refrigerate until needed.
