Balloons are inexpensive decorations and come in a variety of colors. The limit is your creativity and your power to make knots. We'll start with what balloons to choose from and give you a variety of interesting and amazing balloon decoration ideas. See Step 1 to get started.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Preparing the Base
Step 1. Think of a color scheme
Balloons come in a variety of colors. Do you want to use all colors like a rainbow, or just two colors, or maybe create a color gradient effect? Do you want to imitate champagne bubbles? Fire color? How many colors will you need?
Step 2. Decide whether to use Mylar or latex balloons
Mylar balloons are better suited for outdoor events -- they wrinkle slightly to the touch (and are often available in different sizes with specific images and words); Latex balloons are much easier to burst, especially outdoors, and in the presence of children. However, latex balloons have more uses and are easier to style.
In the next section (where we talk about ideas), we'll talk more about latex balloons. You can also use mylar balloons, but the results are not as good as latex balloons
Step 3. Think about the size and size of the room
The bigger the room or the sparse the decor, the more balloons you'll need. Latex balloons are much cheaper, especially if you blow them yourself. Do you just need a few balloons to sweeten up the room or do you want all your guests to be surrounded by balloons? And as always, better prepare more than you think to be safe!
Step 4. Decide whether or not to use a helium balloon
You can decorate the room with balloons instead of helium, no problem. This method is fast, cheap and very easy. But to use a variety of other balloon options, use helium balloons. Or a mix of both!
You can blow up balloons at a party store or you can buy a helim filler at home. If you have a lot of balloons, you should use the second option
Method 2 of 2: Using Creativity
Step 1. Think of a different way to hang it
Whether you get helium or not, you don't always have to let your balloons fly over the roof of the room or strewn across the floor. You can choose from a few unusual ways to style your balloons:
-
With helium balloon:
- Tie the end of the rope to a golf pole in your garden.
- Tie a string at the end and glue it at different heights from the floor, forming a balloon wall
-
With non-helium balloons:
- Paste it on the wall with various sizes, like bubbles
- Put a coin or marble in the balloon, tie the string, and hang it upside down on the roof.
Step 2. Make it into a certain shape
You probably use a lot of balloons, so why not combine them into a big and awesome ornate shape? Here are some of the ideas:
- Make a balloon arch. Use a helium balloon and string, the arch will form on its own.
- Flower shape. Four balloons of the same color can become the petals, and a balloon of a different color in the middle can become the eyes.
- Make a ribbon. Pass the needle and thread through the rows of balloons, forming an unusual ribbon.
Step 3. Decorate the balloons
You can even make this step a part of your party because it's a lot of fun. With a few other decorative materials, you can turn your balloons into the canvas of your next artwork.
- Two words: glue and glitter. If you have a bowl of glue, you can dip the balloon in the glitter, making it two colors.
- Permanent marker. Draw your friend's face, want to try it?
- Paint, feathers and whatever else you can get out of your art toolbox.
Step 4. Fill the balloon with anything other than air
Because filling it with air is normal. And we're not talking about water balloon wars - although this is fun too.
- Keep filling the balloon with air, but then freeze the balloon. These balloons will keep your party cool and very nice and fun.
-
Fill balloons with LED lights or lit sticks. If your party is taking place at night, this decoration is perfect for attracting the attention of your guests.
If the LED light is large enough, you may need to cut off the base. This balloon will look a little bloated, but it's still a beautiful flaming bubble
- Fill it with nuts to make a homemade bean bag!
Step 5. Use balloons with a specific purpose
Balloons are decoration, of course, but they can also be used. When people ask you why your house is filled with balloons, you can answer because you need them. Following are some of the reasons:
- Use balloons as placemarks! Fill it with helium, tie and mark the cord, then tie it to the guest chair. So people can take it home too.
- Using thick tape or tape, tape the balloon behind the closed door. When your special guest comes to open the door, your balloon will go down fast!
- Make crafts with balloons! Time to make some paper pulp or molds that can be turned into small vases or lampshades.
Tips
- Use a permanent marker to draw faces on the balloons.
- If possible, watch the person blowing your balloon; if you think there is a hole or an excess air balloon, you may be right, ask if he can blow another balloon for you.
- Keeping a stockpile of balloons is probably a good idea.
- If you can't find plain Mylar balloons for your event, look for one that fits the theme of your event, such as floral balloons.
- If you need a lot of balloons, you can order them ahead of time instead of ordering them the morning before your event.
Warning
- Balloons are objects that are dangerous to the wild. Never release it into the air. If this is possible, do not use balloons outdoors.
- Latex balloons (especially when placed outdoors) are highly likely to burst.
