Step 1. Open Telegram on Android device

Step 2. Touch the chat thread that contains the video
Step 3. Touch the arrow icon on the video
This icon is a blue circular button with a white arrow pointing downwards. The video will be downloaded to the device's main download storage directory.
Method 2 of 2: Set Up Video Download Automatically
Step 1. Open Telegram on Android device

Step 2. Touch the button
It's in the top-left corner of the screen.
Step 3. Touch Settings
This option is at the bottom of the menu.
Step 4. Swipe the screen and touch Data and Storage
This option is under the “Settings” heading.
Step 5. Select When connected on Wi-Fi
A list of options will be displayed.
Step 6. Check the box next to “Videos” option
With this option, the videos in the chat thread will automatically be downloaded to your phone or tablet when the device is connected to a WiFi network.
Step 7. Touch Save
Changes will take effect immediately.
