Will produce about 30 glasses of Jungle Juice, each with a volume of 240 ml
Step
Method 1 of 2: Making Jungle Juice on a Limited Budget
Step 1. Store as much fruit juice and other beverages as possible in the refrigerator
Although it really depends on the length of your party, try to keep all fruit juices, fruit punch, pink lemonade, and rum in the refrigerator for as long as possible before turning them into Jungle Juice. If your refrigerator is not too big, try to put as many drinks in it as possible.
Chilling all ingredients prior to processing is the perfect technique to reduce the amount of ice cubes used. Remember, ice cubes can thin the texture of the drink and dominate the space in the bowl
Step 2. Chill the vodka in the freezer before serving
Don't worry, the vodka won't freeze, no matter how long you leave it in the freezer. Therefore, try putting it in the freezer to make sure it is really cold when it is processed into Jungle Juice. Even if Jungle Juice isn't making any more in the next few days, you can put vodka in the freezer from today.
Do not put rum or other liquids in the refrigerator! Unlike vodka, rum or other liquids can freeze or even crumble after being stored in the freezer, making it difficult to process into Jungle Juice
Step 3. Prepare a clean container that is large enough and capable of holding the entire portion of the liquid
Generally, a bowl that is commonly used to serve mixed ice is the right choice. In addition, you can also put Jungle Juice into a large dispenser so that guests can take their own drinks. Don't have both? Use the largest glass or plastic bowl available in your home, or pour Jungle Juice into a few pitchers. Whatever container you use, don't forget to clean it of dust and dirt first, especially if it hasn't been used for a long time.
If you're worried that the Jungle Juice isn't cold enough to serve, please put the container over a bowl of ice cubes to keep the temperature cold. That way, the texture of the drink will also not melt
Step 4. Pour all ingredients into a large serving bowl, or divide evenly into several containers
This recipe will make about 10 liters of Jungle Juice. If the available bowl does not meet this capacity, please divide all the ingredients into several containers evenly. Specifically, you will mix about 4 liters of orange-flavored drink, 1.5 liters of alcoholic fruit ice, 2 liters of pink lemonade, 2 liters of pineapple juice and orange juice mixture, 2 bottles of 750 ml vodka each, and a bottle of rum. 750 ml of white.
One of the features of Jungle Juice is the flexibility of the ingredients used. This means that you may replace one or more of the ingredients with other materials that you prefer. For example, if you prefer cranberry juice or mango juice, feel free to use them! If you prefer the taste of lime lemonade over pink lemonade, feel free to use it. No need to worry because the taste of Jungle Juice will remain fresh and alcoholic
Step 5. Stir all ingredients until well mixed
Use a long wooden spoon to stir all the ingredients in a short amount of time. Voila, a delicious bowl of Jungle Juice is ready to enliven your party!
If you want, you can add fresh fruit pieces to the serving bowl. Some examples of delicious fruit combined with Jungle Juice are sliced strawberries, diced apples, and fresh citrus fruits. All of them have a very fresh taste so they are suitable for use
Step 6. Enjoy your homemade Jungle Juice and make sure all guests can consume alcoholic beverages responsibly
Pour enough Jungle Juice into a serving glass, then give it to all guests in attendance (or let them do it themselves). If necessary, add a few ice cubes to each serving glass. Although Jungle Juice is suitable for serving to enrich the color of your party, make sure you and all guests are safe after consuming it. Also, make sure you stay hydrated and don't drive a car or motorbike drunk afterward.
Most likely, there won't be any Jungle Juice left after that! However, if there is still Jungle Juice left, please pour it into an airtight container, then store it in the refrigerator for a maximum of 2 weeks. Before serving or consuming again, stir the Jungle Juice briefly to ensure that no ingredients settle to the bottom of the container
Method 2 of 2: Making Jungle Juice with Fresh Fruit
Step 1. Prepare a mixed ice bowl or dispenser to be used as a Jungle Juice container
As previously explained, the recipe listed in this article will yield about 10 liters of Jungle Juice. Therefore, do not forget to prepare a container that is large enough so that it can contain the entire portion of the liquid. If you don't have either of these, you can use a pitcher or other drink container, as well as a large glass or plastic bowl.
Clean the container from dust and dirt that adheres before use
Step 2. Slice the lemons and oranges into 0.5 cm thickness
Place the lemons and oranges on a cutting board and slice them both to the recommended thickness. Later, the fruit slices will be put into Jungle Juice until the taste and aroma are perfectly absorbed. Jungle Juice's appearance will look even more beautiful after that, lo!
- Feel free to add more citrus fruits if you want! Don't worry, there is no correct amount for you to follow, really.
- If you want, you can also use grapefruit slices, blood oranges (oranges with dark red flesh), or limes, depending on what fruit stock you have in your household.
Step 3. Open a can of pineapple in a round shape, then drain the juice or soaking liquid
Use a can opener to open the lid, then pour the juice or pineapple marinade into a small bowl. Then, place the pineapple on the same plate as the lemon and orange slices.
If you have fresh pineapple, feel free to use it
Step 4. Put all the liquid ingredients in a serving bowl
In particular, put a 750 ml bottle of vodka, a 750 ml bottle of white rum, 1 liter of cranberry juice, 120 ml of lime juice, 240 ml of triple sec and 750 ml of sparkling wine in a bowl. Be careful when doing this so that no liquid can splash and stain your clothes.
- If you want to make Jungle Juice long before the party, don't mix sparkling wine in it. Remember, the sparkling wine must be added right before the Jungle Juice is served to allow the sparkling bubbles to remain.
- Use fresh lime or bottled lime juice, depending on your taste and availability of ingredients in your home.
Step 5. Add 120g of light brown sugar to a serving bowl
If you don't want to add extra sugar, skip this step.
Brown sugar serves to make the taste of the drink a little sweeter, as well as to disguise the taste of the alcohol a little. However, since fresh fruit and fruit juices already contain sugar, feel free to adjust the amount of brown sugar to your taste
Step 6. Stir in sugar until completely dissolved
Use a long wooden spoon to stir all the ingredients, including the sugar, until well combined. If necessary, check the bottom of the bowl to make sure no sugar is still settling.
If the container becomes too full after the sugar is added, feel free to divide Jungle Juice into two or more containers. Remember, after this you still have to add fruit slices which of course will increase the volume of Jungle Juice
Step 7. Place the lemon, orange, and pineapple slices in a bowl
Slowly, put all the fruit slices into a serving bowl, then stir again the Jungle Juice so that the fruit slices do not stick together.
If you want, put Jungle Juice in the refrigerator for a few hours so that the taste and aroma of the fruit can be more pervasive. Remember, if you want to leave Jungle Juice in the refrigerator again, don't add sparkling wine until it's time for Jungle Juice to be served
Step 8. Serve Jungle Juice with additional ice cubes or chill in the refrigerator before serving
If desired, pour Jungle Juice into serving glasses filled with ice cubes to serve to guests, or let them pick it up themselves and add ice cubes according to taste, especially if Jungle Juice is served using a dispenser. The delicious Jungle Juice is ready to be enjoyed with the people closest to you. Remember, make sure everyone, including you, consume Jungle Juice responsibly, yes!
Don't add ice cubes to the serving bowl! It's a good idea to put the ice cubes in a serving glass instead of a bowl that could potentially thin out Jungle Juice's texture
Tips
- Feel free to add other fresh fruit, such as apples, strawberries, blueberries, watermelon, or even sliced kiwi, into your homemade Jungle Juice.
- If the number of people who will consume Jungle Juice is more or less than stated in the recipe, feel free to cut the ingredients in half, or increase the ingredients by two or three times.
