Your iPhone isn't fully functional if you haven't used it as an all-in-one media player. With iPhone, you can play music, watch movies and TV shows, and view photos. iTunes allows you to easily manage media files on your iPhone. You can use iTunes to easily sync music, photos, and videos.

Method 1 of 4: Connecting iPhone
Step 1. Download and install the latest iTunes on your Windows computer
iTunes can be downloaded for free from Apple's official website.

Step 2. Connect iPhone to computer via USB cable
Step 3. Tap Trust on your iPhone
The message will appear when you connect your iPhone to a new computer.
Step 4. Open iTunes on your Windows computer if iTunes doesn't automatically open when iPhone is connected
Depending on your computer settings, iTunes will open immediately when iPhone is connected.
Step 5. Click Trust iPhone if a message appears in iTunes
The message will appear when you connect your new iOS device to your computer.
Step 6. Perform the initial setup
When you first connect your device, you may need to set up the device in iTunes. Content that is already on the iPhone will not be affected, because in this process, you are simply labeling the iPhone in iTunes.
Step 7. Select iPhone in iTunes
If iPhone isn't already selected, select iPhone from the row of buttons at the top of the iTunes window.
If you're using an older version of iTunes, select iPhone from the Devices menu
Method 2 of 4: Copying Music
Step 1. Add music files to iTunes library
To add music to iPhone with iTunes, you must add the music files you have to your iTunes library.
- Click File → Add Folder to Library. If you don't find the File menu, press Alt.
- Select the directory containing the music to add its contents to the iTunes library. Repeat the above steps if you have multiple music directories.
- Read further guides to add music to iTunes on the internet.
- Music you buy through iTunes will go to your library automatically.
Step 2. Change the protected WMA music format
If you import music purchased through Windows Media Player, the music file may still contain DRM, so it can't be imported into iTunes. To import a music file, you must remove the DRM from the file. Follow the guides on the internet to remove DRM from WMA files.
Step 3. Select iPhone from the row of buttons at the top of the iTunes window
Step 4. From the menu on the left, select Music
Step 5. Put a check mark on the Sync Music option
Step 6. Select the artist, album, playlist, or genre you want to add to iPhone
Check the available free space on your iPhone in the bar at the bottom of the window.
Step 7. Click Sync to sync selected music to iPhone
Method 3 of 4: Copying Images
Step 1. Select iPhone from the row of buttons at the top of the iTunes window
Step 2. From the menu on the left, select Photos
Step 3. Put a check mark on the Sync Photos From option
Step 4. Use the menu to select the Pictures directory
You can also select Other folder to select another directory on your computer.
You can sync only one starting directory in each synchronization process, but any subdirectories within the home directory can be synced as well. To control as many synced photos as possible, organize all your pictures in one central Pictures directory
Step 5. Choose whether you want to sync all subdirectories in the Pictures directory, or only certain directories
Step 6. Click Apply to start the synchronization
Method 4 of 4: Copying Videos
Step 1. Add video files to iTunes library
To add videos to your iPhone with iTunes, you must add the video files you have to your iTunes library.
- Click File → Add Folder to Library. If you don't find the File menu, press Alt.
- Select the directory containing the videos to add the contents to your iTunes library. Repeat the above steps if you have multiple video directories.
- Videos you buy through iTunes will go to your library automatically.
Step 2. Select iPhone from the row of buttons at the top of the iTunes window
Step 3. From the menu on the left, select Movies to display the Movies screen
Step 4. Put a check mark on the Sync Movies option
Step 5. Put a tick on the movies you want to sync to iPhone
Step 6. Use the menu to select the movies to sync
You can select all movies, recent movies, or unwatched movies.
Step 7. Click Apply to sync the movie
Step 8. Click the TV Shows tab
Step 9. Put a check mark on the Sync TV Shows option
Step 10. Select the TV shows you want to sync
Step 11. Use the menu to select the TV shows to sync
You can select all TV shows, recent TV shows, or unwatched TV shows.
Step 12. Click Apply to sync TV shows
Step 13. Change the video format if the video is not syncing
iTunes will not sync videos with formats and encodings that are not compatible with iPhone.
