Step 1. Make sure the iPod is connected to the computer via a USB cable
Open iTunes (if it's not already open).

Click the Organize tab and from the drop-down menu select Folder and Search Options.
Step 4. Once done, click on the View tab in the window you just opened
Step 5. Look for the Hidden Files and Folders list, and make sure the Show hidden files and folders option is checked
Step 6. Go back to the iPod window and you will see a new file called "iPod_control"
Go into that directory and then go into the "music" directory.
Step 7. Select all the directories there and drag them to the iTunes window or simply copy them to the "music" directory of iTunes files

You must copy all directories from iPod > iPod_control > music to iTunes "music" directory. Otherwise, once you disconnect the iPod, iTunes will display the message "The file **** could not be found. Would you like to locate it? Yes/No"
