Instagram is available to Android device users via the Google Play Store. From this platform, you can download and install Instagram to your Android phone using a WiFi network or a cellular data connection. Part 1 of 2: Downloading the Instagram App
Step 1. Unlock Android phone to access the device
Step 2. Touch the "Play Store" app icon
The Google Play Store window will open.
Step 3. Touch the magnifying glass icon to display the search bar
You can use this bar to search for a specific app, like Instagram.
Step 4. Type "Instagram" into the Google Play search bar
The official Instagram app will be shown as the first search result.
To ensure that you get the official version of Instagram, make sure the publisher of the app displays the name "Instagram"
Step 5. Touch the “Install” button next to the app name
Instagram will soon be downloaded to the phone.
Step 6. Close the Google Play store window
Step 7. Open the app save location
Instagram is now available and can be used!
Part 2 of 2: Setting Up an Instagram Account
Step 1. Touch the Instagram app icon to open it
You will be taken to the login page after that.
Step 2. Touch "Sign Up"
Step 3. Enter the email address
Make sure you use a valid and accessible email address because you will need to verify your identity if you forget your account password at any time.
You can also log into the service using your Facebook login information. This option will also sync your Facebook account with your Instagram account. If at this stage you are not logged into Facebook, Instagram will ask you to access your account first
Step 4. Touch "Next"
Step 5. Create a username and password, then touch "Next"
At this stage, you can add your name, profile photo, and a brief description of yourself.
Step 6. Add personal information to the profile
Although not mandatory, this information can make your profile stand out from other profiles.
Step 7. Touch " Done " to complete the account creation process
Now, you have an active Instagram account!
