This wikiHow teaches you how to find Facebook users in the city of your choice using a computer browser. This guide is intended for the English language Facebook site.
Step
Step 1. Visit Facebook using your computer browser
Type www.facebook.com in your browser's address bar, press Enter on the keypad. A Facebook page will open.
If you're not logged into Facebook, enter your email address or phone number, and your password
Step 2. Click your first name
It's next to the home button in the upper-right corner of the screen. This button will open your profile page.
Alternatively, you can click on your full name located in the navigation menu at the top left corner of the home page
Step 3. Click Friends
This button is located between About and Photos, just below your cover photo. This button will open your friends list.
Step 4. Click the +Find Friends button
This button is located above the box Search for your friends in the top right corner of your friends list. This button will open a list with labels People You May Know. This page lists the profiles of Facebook users that may be added to your friends list.
If you have a friend request that has not been responded to, it will appear at the top of the list People You May Know.
Step 5. Find Current City in the Search for Friends box
Box Search for Friends located on the right side of the screen. Here, you can use various filters from the list People You May Know such as name, hometown, employer, and city where the user lives.
Step 6. Select a city under Current City
Click and check the box next to the city you want to select. This will filter the list People You May Know and displays only users who live in the city of your choice.
