This wikiHow teaches you how to send a message from a Facebook page. If your business has a Facebook page and you want to connect with your audience through Facebook Messenger, there are several ways to do this. However, currently Facebook only allows you to send messages to users who have contacted you before. There are several ways to encourage users to message you.

Method 1 of 3: Turn on Messages Feature on Facebook Page
Step 1. Go to Facebook page
Once you are on the Facebook page, do the following:
- Find section Shortcuts in the left menu.
- Click the name of your Facebook page.
- If you don't see this option, click “Pages” under the “Explore” section and select your Facebook page there.
Step 2. Click Settings at the top right corner of the page
In the upper right corner of your Facebook page, there is usually a settings button to the left of the help menu.
Step 3. Click Message from the dropdown list in the middle of the Facebook page
After that you will be on the general settings page. "Messages" will be the fifth choice on the list.
Make sure you look at the menu to the right of the main menu
Step 4. Make sure the box is checked, then click Save Changes
You'll see a checkbox next to "Allow people to contact my Page privately by showing the Message button." Make sure this box is checked. Otherwise, you will not be able to receive messages.
Step 5. Click Pages in the top left corner
This will take you back to the main section of your Facebook page.
Step 6. Click the + Add Button below the cover image of your page
On the right side of your Facebook page, just below the cover image, you'll see a bright blue box that says + Add a Button (+ Add a Button). This will allow you to add a button that the user can click on to send you a message.
Step 7. Click Contact you (Contact you)
Under Stage 1, you will see five options. Since you want to receive messages, click on the "Contact you" option.
Step 8. Select Send Message
Facebook gives you five text options for the buttons you create. All options are equally good, but in this case, "send message" is the best option.
Step 9. Click Next
It's a blue button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 10. Select Messenger
This is the only option that falls under Stage 2, but you'll still need to click this button to add the button on your Facebook page.
Step 11. Click Done
It's blue and in the lower-right corner of the screen. After completing this process, users will be able to see a large button prompting them to message you.
Method 2 of 3: Using the Inbox Page
Step 1. Go to Facebook page
From the homepage of your Facebook page, click on your Facebook page name below Shortcuts in the left menu.
Step 2. Click Inbox
Step 3. Tap a conversation
Step 4. Write a reply to the message and click Send
Method 3 of 3: Sign Up for Subscription Messages
Step 1. Go to Facebook page
Step 2. Click Settings in the top right corner of your Facebook page
Step 3. Click Messenger Platform from the menu on the left
You'll automatically be directed to the general settings, but the menu on the left provides some more specific setting options. The messenger platform settings are seventh on the list and have a word bubble icon with a sideways lightning bolt.
Step 4. Scroll down to Advanced Messaging Features
You must receive approval from Facebook for this form of message. Subscription messages empower Facebook pages to send non-promotional messages to users.
Step 5. Click Request (Request)
You can see this option on the right side of the subscription message. Clicking this button will open a new window containing a form.
Step 6. Fill in the form
Fill out this form based on your Facebook page type. You can choose the type of message you want to send: News, Productivity, or Personal Tracker. After that, you have the opportunity to provide additional details about the message you want to send to your users. The form also requires you to provide a sample message that you want to send.
Remember that all messages sent must be non-promotional. Otherwise, you will not get access to subscribed messages. Check the box at the bottom of the form to prove that you understand these terms
Step 7. Click Save Draft
It's a blue button in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Step 8. Click Submit For Review
After filling out the form correctly, you can submit your request for the review process. If your Facebook page is approved to use the subscribed messaging feature, you will be able to message users regularly.
