The Apple Macintosh with OS X continues to grow in market share, and much of that growth is attributed to the shift of PC users to Macs. While switching is relatively easy, there are a few apps that first-time Mac users might want to use. One such application is Internet Explorer, which was used by approximately 38% of the US market as of May 2012.
Since Internet Explorer is no longer supported on Macs, many users install virtual environments such as VMWare Fusion, Parallels, or Apple BootCamp. This can be costly, and is not the best solution.
WineBottler by mikesMassiveMess is a simple and free application that you can use to run Internet Explorer on your Mac. Here's how.

Step 1. Download the WineBottler package
You can find it at https://winebottler.kronenberg.org/. It will start doing the download immediately.
