When you enter an incorrect password on your iPhone, it will automatically lock your iPhone so that your security and private information are protected. If you can't get into your locked iPhone use the “Backup and Restore” feature of iTunes or by factory resetting it.

Method 1 of 1: Restoring iPhone
Step 1. Connect iPhone to your computer using a USB cable
iTunes will run automatically when it detects your device.
Step 2. Click your iPhone icon which is on the left bar or at the top of iTunes
Step 3. Wait for the iPhone to automatically sync with iTunes
Your personal data will be synced to iTunes even if it is locked.
Step 4. Press and hold the Home and Power buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

Release the Power button but continue to press and hold the Home button until “Connect to iTunes” appears on the screen.
Click “Restore” when iTunes informs you that an iPhone has been detected in recovery mode. The latest version of iOS will be downloaded and installed on your iPhone.
Wait for iTunes to finish restoring your device then disconnect your iPhone from iTunes. Your iPhone is now unlocked.
Troubleshooting

Restore your iPhone using the previously described steps if your device is locked after entering the wrong password six times at a time.

Factory reset if iPhone can't reset its password. This process will erase all content in your device and restore it to factory settings.
- Disconnect all cables connected to your iPhone.
- Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button, then slide "slide to power off" to turn off your iPhone.
- Press and hold the Home button and connect your iPhone to the computer using a USB cable.
- Wait for the iPhone to turn on automatically while you keep the Home button pressed. If iPhone doesn't turn on by itself, press the Power button without releasing the Home button.
- Keep pressing the Home button until “Connect to iTunes” appears on the screen.
- Connect iPhone to computer using a USB cable. iTunes will run when it detects your device.
- Click “OK” when iTunes informs you that a device has been detected in recovery mode.
- Click "Restore. ” Your iPhone is finally unlocked again.
