LinkedIn is a social networking site specially designed for business owners or colleagues to make new connections or stay in touch with fellow entrepreneurs, co-workers and professionals they like. On this site, each contact is known as a "Connection". If one of your Connections is constantly spamming or harming your professional image, you can remove it from the LinkedIn site.
Step
Step 1. Log in to the LinkedIn site
You can quickly delete one or more Connections from the LinkedIn site. After deleting a Connection, you will not be able to send messages to that person, and you will lose any support you have written for that person or received from that person.
You cannot delete Connection via mobile app
Step 2. Click the "Connections" button at the top of the LinkedIn page
This will open a list of all LinkedIn contacts.
Step 3. Check the boxes next to the people you want to remove
If you only want to delete one person, skip this step.
Step 4. Click the "More" link at the top of the list
If you only want to delete one person, click the "More" link that appears when you hover over the contact.
Step 5. Select "Remove connection" from the menu
You'll be asked to confirm whether you want to remove the person, and your viewing status will no longer be available once the person is deleted.
Step 6. Click "Remove" to delete the selected Connection
The contact will also be removed from your list, but will not be notified if you have removed it from your Connections list.
