A vending machine (or better known as a vending machine) is the right choice if you want to buy drinks or snacks in a convenient way. When using a vending machine, you have to put money into the machine and then press the button for the snack or drink you want to buy. If your snack or drink gets stuck, you can hit the machine or ask for a refund.
Step
Method 1 of 2: Operating the Machine
Step 1. Find the price and code under the food or drink you want to buy
Look at the bottom of the food or drink you want to buy for the price and code. This code can be in the form of numbers, letters, or a combination of both. You have to enter this code into the machine. Each row has a different number and letter. Prices are usually listed next to the code.
If the machine is not transparent and there are only images of the products being sold, press the button for the product you want to buy. The price of the product will be displayed on the screen next to the money slot. If the selected product is empty, this information will also be displayed on the screen
Step 2. Put money into the machine
First, trim the money that will be put into the machine so that it is free from wrinkles. Look at the sticker next to the money slot to find out how to enter the money correctly. If using coins, insert them into the coin slot. The amount of money you enter will be displayed on the machine screen.
- Do not insert any torn or tattered notes as the machine will not accept them.
- Most vending machines do not accept money above IDR 50,000.
Step 3. Swipe the credit card on the vending machine
The latest vending machines can also serve payments by credit or debit cards if you don't bring cash. Find the credit card scanner next to the money slot. Swipe a credit card to use it.
Step 4. Enter the product code or press the product button
Make sure the code for the product you want to buy is correct. If you enter the wrong code, press the clear or cancel button. If you don't need to enter a code, just press the button for the product you want. Once the code is entered, the machine will issue the product you purchased and you just have to pick it up.
Some vending machines will automatically dispense drinks through a hole in the side of the machine
Step 5. Check the coin hole for change
Find the coin hole located under the money slot. If you put in more money than you need, lift the coin cover and take your change.
Check the coin pit before using the vending machine to make sure there is no other person's change in it
Method 2 of 2: Removing the Stuck Product
Step 1. Open and close the machine hole if the product you bought is on the bottom
Open the machine hole so that suction occurs inside the machine. If the product is not too snagged, this suctioning process will pull the product you bought so you can pick it up easily.
Step 2. Shake the machine from the side
Place your hands on both sides of the machine and grip the machine tightly. Gently push the machine and then release your grip. The product you bought will fall down so you can pick it up.
If the machine cannot be pushed by hand, stand next to the machine and push with your body
Step 3. Call the phone number listed to receive a refund
Find the phone number listed next to the money slot. If the product you purchased cannot be removed from the machine, please call the telephone number and describe your complaint. Generally, vending machine companies will give you a refund.
