You can easily disable GPS on your iPhone when you're not using it. This will also extend your phone's battery life, as well as make sure hackers and apps don't know your location!

Step 1. Click the “settings” icon on the “home screen” of your iPhone
Step 2. Under “settings”, click on “Privacy”
Step 3. Click “Location Services”
Step 4. Disable GPS by turning off “location services”
