Interested in playing your favorite supernatural creature at a Cosplay convention or Halloween? Make a slender man costume! The slender man look is very easy to make, but the results are very convincing.

Step 1. Create an elongated body
Slender man is known for having a very long body. To create this, you can use stilts or heels to increase your height. Use this option if you are sure of its safety and balance during use.
Step 2. Create the illusion of a white body
The first step in creating a slender man appearance is to imitate his white body. Slender man is known for his smooth and shadowless body. There are ways to do more than just paint the body white.
- Use the morph/spandex setting. This is a full body suit made of thin elastic material. You may remember seeing sports team fans wearing this suit in their team colors, and you can buy a plain white suit for a slender man costume.
- Use white nylon or stockings spread over the head and face. The material is thick enough to give a smooth look, but thin enough that you can breathe easily.
- You can use a completely white mask in addition to white gloves. Even though the slender man doesn't have eye holes, you can glue thin white cloth to the inside of the eye holes for better visibility while creating a better illusion.
Step 3. Get the perfect suit
Slenderman always appears wearing a black suit. Wear a button-up t-shirt and a black coat over your white body costume. Pair it with a light black tie, and you're good to go.
Step 4. Create the tentacles
Sometimes the slender man shows black tentacles protruding from his back. You can make a great cosplay without tentacles, but you can enhance it by adding tentacles. Take the time to make the tentacles from scratch and attach them to the body.

Use a long plastic/large Styrofoam water toy and wire to make the tentacles. Cut the wire to the length you want, then shape it into a tentacle. Then, cut them into pieces, and glue them to the wire. You can tape the ends with scissors once they are glued to the wire.

Wrap the wire with black tape and twist to form a tentacle. For added thickness, wrap the wire in cotton cloth before tape.

Make tentacles out of clay play. These are inexpensive children's toys, very light, and dry after a few days. Shape the clay into the tentacle shape you want, let it dry. Then, spray black paint to match the slender man appearance.

Attach the tentacles to the back of the shirt or sew on the inside, if you are using it for cosplay and not wearing it for any other purpose.

Step 5. Finish the costume
Use black shoes and flashy socks to finish off the bottom of the shirt. Make sure the tentacles and suit are securely attached. Finished!
