Is your Pokédex missing one important piece of data? Jirachi is one of the rarest Pokémon, and even though Jirachi is a Steel-type Pokémon, it only weighs a few pounds! However, what is more useful than Jirachi is his assortment of powerful Psychic-type attacks. Jirachi can be difficult to obtain, and apart from special events (which may have been passed from the beginning of the story), you can only get them through certain means. Follow this guide to get Jirachi and equip your Pokédex.
Step
Method 1 of 3: Using the Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc (USA)
Step 1. Organize your group in Pokémon Ruby or Sapphire
You need one free space in the group to get Jirachi. When the groups are set up correctly, turn off the Game Boy.
Step 2. Connect Game Boy Advance with GameCube
You must use a special adapter cable that will connect the two.
Step 3. Start the Bonus Disc
Insert the Pokémon Colosseum Bonus Disc into the GameCube. You will be taken to the main Bonus Disc menu. Scroll to the right and select "Jirachi Special Gift".
Step 4. Wait for the transfer process
After you select Jirachi on the menu, you will be asked to connect GameBoy. You will see a loading screen on the GameCube and Game Boy. Transfer takes approximately 30 seconds.
Step 5. Use your new Jirachi
Once the transfer is complete, Jirachi will be in the group and ready to go! You can use the Bonus Disc to add Jirachi to your Pokémon game as many times as you want, but you can only use it once per game. If you start the game from scratch, you can use it again.
Once you get Jirachi, you can trade it for another Pokémon game that has a newer version
Method 2 of 3: Using the Pokémon Channel (Europe and Australia)
