Step 1. Get in the habit of keeping things tidy

- One of the main causes of procrastination is being distracted by electronic devices. Before studying, turn off all electronic devices or store them out of sight. If you need a computer while studying, make a commitment not to open websites that are not related to the lesson. Have a friend or family member watch you while you study and alert you if you're distracted.
