Part 1 of 2: Allowing Downloads on Device
Step 1. Open the page/app drawer
How to access this page may differ for each device, but usually you need to touch the grid icon which displays a window with all the apps on the device.
Step 2. Touch Settings
Step 3. Select Security
Step 4. Slide the Unknown sources switch to the on position
On some versions of Android, you may need to check the checkbox.
Step 5. Touch OK
With this option, you can download Google Play Store APK files from third-party sites.
“APK” stands for Android Application Pack and this file is used to share, extract, and install programs onto Android devices
Part 2 of 2: Downloading Google Play Store
Step 1. Open the browser on the device
Step 2. Find the latest version of the Google Play Store APK file
Step 3. Download the file
Step 4. Open the notification center window
Once the file has finished downloading, swipe down from the top of the screen.
Step 5. Touch the downloaded file
Step 6. Touch the Install button
Step 7. Select Done
Now you are ready to use the new Google Play Store app.
