- You can also roast peanuts in cooking oil.

Method 2 of 4: Roasting Pecans in a Frying Pan
Step 1. If you have limited time, try roasting peanuts in a frying pan
Step 2. Heat a nonstick skillet over high heat
Reduce the heat to medium just before the beans are roasted.
