Kahlua is a liqueur that adds a hint of sweetness to any drink. You can try this drink in a variety of classic cocktails, including the indulgent White Russian, Black Russian or Mudslide. Kahlua is also the main ingredient of many popular shooter drinks, making it a must drink at parties. Adding Kahlua to other drinks can improve the taste even more, especially if you add whipped cream and chocolate to the mix!

Method 1 of 3: Mixing Cocktails with Kahlua
Step 1. Serve Kahlua with ice
Fill the glass cup with ice cubes. Fill half the glass with Kahlua. Using a stick or spoon, gently stir the ice cubes to cool the Kahlua. Add a little orange zest to the glass to further liven up this relaxing drink.
Step 2. Mix it with Black Russian
To make this classic cocktail, fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes. Pour 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of vodka and 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of Kahlua over the ice cubes. Stir the drink slowly to mix, then enjoy!
Step 3. Create a White Russian
To prepare this delicious drink, fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes. Pour 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of Kahlua, 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of vodka and 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of light cream over the ice. Stir the drink slightly to mix.
To make a lighter version of this drink, use equal amounts of milk instead of cream
Step 4. Indulge in a Mudslide
To mix a cocktail that tastes like dessert, use a shaker glass filled with ice cubes. Pour in 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of Kahlua, 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of vodka and 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of Irish cream liquor. Shake all the ingredients, then pour the drink into a tumbler glass that has been filled with ice.
Step 5. Create a Mind Eraser
To make a drink with a strong and refreshing taste, fill a tumbler glass with ice cubes, pour 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of Kahlua, followed by 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of vodka, and 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of club soda. For a cool looking look, avoid mixing drinks and allow 3 layers to form on the drink.
Step 6. Beat the coffee martini
To make a drink with a little sensation, fill a shaker glass with ice cubes. Pour in 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of vodka, 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of Kahlua and 30 ml of chocolate liquor. Shake the mixture vigorously and pour the drink into a martini glass. If desired, add espresso or shaved chocolate on top of the martini.
Method 2 of 3: Creating a Shooter with Kahlua
Step 1. Pour in the B-52 shot
The B-52 shot is a favorite drink at parties especially because of its cool look. When poured properly, the alcohol will coat each other in three striking layers. In a standard 30-45 ml shot glass, pour about 9 ml (0.6 tablespoons) Kahlua, followed by 9 ml (0.6 tablespoons) creamy liquor (e.g. Baileys) then 9 ml (0.6 tablespoons) eat) citrus liquor (eg Grand Marnier).
Step 2. Make a Blow Job shot
Despite the vulgar name, Blow Job shot is very popular. Pour 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Irish cream and 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Kahlua into a shot glass. Add a large spoonful of whipped cream to the shot drink.
Step 3. Try After Eight shots
For a shot drink with a sweet taste, pour 9 ml (0.6 tablespoons) of Kahlua into a shot glass. Slowly add 9 ml (0.6 tablespoons) of peppermint Schnapps, then add 9 ml (0.6 tablespoons) of Irish cream liqueur. The three layers must overlap each other to create an interesting effect.
Step 4. Dare to drink the Brave Bull shot
For a simple shot drink with lots of kicks, try mixing Kahlua with tequila. Pour in 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of Kahlua and 15 ml (1 tablespoon) of tequila. As a variation on this shot, add a little cream.
Method 3 of 3: Adding Kahlua to Other Drinks
Step 1. Add Kahlua to the hot chocolate drink
To add a sensation to your chocolate drink, pour 45 ml (3 tablespoons) of Kahlua into a cup of warm chocolate. Stir with a spoon until the liquor is mixed. Add a spoonful of whipped cream on top, if desired.
Step 2. Add Kahlua to your non-caffeinated coffee
Add 30 ml (2 tablespoons) of Kahlua and 30 ml of milk or cream to a coffee cup. Pour in the non-caffeinated coffee and stir. Add sugar or sweetener to add flavor.
Don't drink alcohol and caffeine at the same time. If you mix the two, chances are you won't even notice how drunk you are. This puts a high risk of alcohol poisoning or alcohol-related accidents
Step 3. Add the milkshake with Kahlua
For an indulgent snack, make a milkshake and add a little Kahlua to it. In a blender, add 3 scoops of vanilla or chocolate ice cream and 120 ml (½ cup) of milk or cream. Add 60 ml (4 tablespoons) of Kahlua and shake everything until combined. Pour the milkshake into a glass and add whipped cream or chocolate syrup on top, if desired.
