Condensed milk is used in a variety of dessert recipes. This homemade condensed milk is perfect for when you're out of stock and don't want to spend the money buying canned condensed milk at the store.
Ingredients
Condensed milk:
- 245 ml hot water
- 55 gr margarine
- 400 gr sugar
- 480 gr dry powdered milk without fat
Microwave condensed milk:
Make 1 1/3 cups of condensed milk, the equivalent of 398 grams of canned condensed milk:
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/4 cups dry powdered milk
- 1/2 cup cold water
Indian condensed milk
- 1 pack of cream milk
- 100 gr sugar
- A pinch of baking soda
Step
Method 1 of 3: Condensed milk
Step 1. Prepare a blender and pour water in it
Step 2. Add margarine and sugar to the blender
Step 3. Turn on the blender and mix all the ingredients until smooth
Step 4. Slowly add 140 grams of dry powdered milk into the blender
Mix and puree. Repeat this step for each of the next 140 grams of milk, so you'll need to grind it again each time you add milk.
Step 5. Put the condensed milk in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator
Step 6. Done
Method 2 of 3: Microwave condensed milk
Step 1. Pour the water into a large measuring cup
Add milk slowly, stirring to mix well. Stir until soft.
Step 2. Put this mixture in the microwave
Heat in the microwave on high for to 1 minute, the glass of milk does not need to be covered. Or, heat until the milk is hot and steaming.
Step 3. Remove the milk from the microwave
Stir milk with sugar. Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
Step 4. Allow the milk to cool before consuming
Method 3 of 3: Indian condensed milk
Step 1. Heat the milk in a thick saucepan with a handle
Don't get burnt.
Step 2. Add the sugar and baking soda to the pan
Mix well.
Step 3. Stir constantly until the milk thickens
Stir at least every minute, or stir more frequently.
Step 4. When the milk thickens, keep stirring
This will make the milk thicker.
Step 5. If it is very thick, condensed milk is ready to be consumed
Remove the skillet from the stove.
Step 6. Allow the condensed milk to cool for an hour
Then, transfer to an airtight container and refrigerate, or consume immediately.
