Doing a smoking trick is a great way to just spend time with friends or get attention at a party. These tricks are also quite easy, so with a little patience and practice you can do them!
Step
Method 1 of 5: Creating Smoke to Do the Trick
Step 1. Practice in a less windy room
Even those who are advanced can't do anything if too much wind interferes. Choose a quiet room that does not get direct wind flow from outside. If necessary, stay away from fans and close windows.
Step 2. Practice keeping the puff of smoke in your mouth
Cigarette smoke will be thinned and weakened after entering the lungs. Take a small puff of the cigarette and puff out your cheeks to save the smoke. Try to take 3-4 puffs, don't take one long puff of cigarette or pipe.
You will feel the smoke hitting your throat, especially when taking short puffs
Step 3. Release the smoke slowly
Long, slow gusts will produce dense, thicker, and uninterrupted smoke. Practice breathing controlled, flowing breaths, making it look as if the smoke is coming out on its own.
Step 4. Choose the right cigarette
Rolled cigarettes, such as kretek and marijuana, have a thick smoke because the wrapping paper also burns with the contents. E-cigarettes are also a good choice because they contain a lot of vapor. Lastly, the easiest cigarette to use to do the trick is the "hokah" cigarette. The glycerol contained in shisha makes the smoke produced by hokah thicker than other cigarettes.
Water bongs and pipes are the most difficult types of cigarettes to smoke
Step 5. Practice doing the "burst" trick
This trick is simple and can be done while practicing keeping the smoke in the mouth, not in the lungs. To do so, close your mouth after a long puff, and release the smoke quickly while making a "puh!" with the mouth. If done correctly, all the smoke you keep in your mouth will run out and produce large, white plumes of smoke.
Step 6. Try doing the "dragon" trick ("dragon")
This simple trick can also be used to practice exhaling smoke from the nose and mouth simultaneously. "Dragon" is when you release four small streams of smoke at once: two from the lips, and two from both nostrils. Here's how to do it:
- Do one long puff. Try to keep the smoke in your mouth.
- Pull your lips towards your cheeks. With this the upper lip will be pushed to close the middle lip and the two corners of the lips will be open.
- Exhale through the nose and lips simultaneously.
Method 2 of 5: The "Ghost" Trick ("Ghost")
Step 1. Keep the smoke in the mouth after smoking enough cigarettes
"Ghost" is when you exhale smoke and suck it back into your mouth.
Step 2. Open your mouth and exhale slowly
Open your mouth about halfway and exhale the smoke slowly for a few seconds. Be careful not to let the smoke get too far from your face.
Try to make the smoke look like it's coming out on its own, as if it wasn't being "expelled"
Step 3. Blow back the smoke quickly
Close your lips while tilting your body forward. Suck out all the smoke you emit like a vacuum cleaner, or rather a "ghost" vacuum cleaner.
Step 4. As you become more proficient, use this trick to practice the "snap inhale" trick
Let the smoke out of your mouth and inhale again at a higher speed. Here's how to do it:
- Bend your tongue using the roof of your mouth and close your lips after filling your mouth with smoke.
- Straighten your tongue quickly while opening your mouth to push the puff of smoke out.
- Inhale the smoke again as in the "ghost" trick, but even faster, before the smoke dissipates.
Method 3 of 5: The "French Inhale" or "Waterfall" trick
Step 1. Smoke the cigarette in one long puff
As always, try to keep the smoke in your mouth. This trick is best done if the cigarettes used have thick and white smoke.
Step 2. Open your mouth slightly by pushing your lower lip forward
Maintain this position and allow the smoke to escape from the lower lip.
Step 3. Use your nose to inhale the smoke again
As the smoke escapes from your lower lip, use your nose to inhale it slowly. This trick will look like an inverted waterfall, with smoke flowing from your mouth to your nose as the water. That's why this trick is called "waterfall".
Step 4. Combine the "French inhale" trick with the other tricks
Try removing the " smoke ring " and sucking it back in with your nose. You can also try making a "French ghost" where you blow a thick cloud of smoke out of your mouth and suck it back in with your nose.
Step 5. Try the "ghost-facing" trick
This is an easier version of the French Inhale, but it also requires patience. To do this, you must collect the smoke in one long puff. Open your mouth starting from the bottom lip and push the smoke out by exhaling slowly upwards. Maintain a slow puff of smoke while lowering your chin slightly so that your entire face is covered by the smoke.
Method 4 of 5: Blowing Perfect Smoke Rings
Step 1. Fill your mouth with smoke
Collect the smoke with one long puff and keep it in the mouth. Smoke rings can only be done if the cigarettes used have thick smoke and are intact. Consider using a hookah or cigar when practicing.
Step 2. Make the letter O with the mouth
Some people do this successfully by pressing your lips against your teeth, but in general you just have to move your lips as if you were saying "oh." As long as your mouth is open and forming a circle, this trick can still be done.
Step 3. Use a jet of air to push the smoke out
Exhaling is the hardest part of the trick and there are several versions of how to do the right blow:
- Exhale with a quick, disjointed breath. Many refer to this method as a "reverse hiccup" because basically a hiccup is a quick short breath, you will feel a little "pop". Imagine you make a “huh, huh, huh” sound when you exhale smoke.
- Use your tongue to "flick" the air out. Synchronize the movement of the tongue and exhalation as when saying "tuh".
- Pat out. Tap your cheek with your finger until it touches the gums. Use sufficient force to force air out of the mouth. Once you become proficient, you can pat your cheeks a few times before you run out of smoke.
Step 4. Shape the mouth like a ring
The shape of the ring produced by this trick is determined by the size of your mouth and the force with which you exhale the smoke. Once you understand the basics, practice moving your lips and using your lungs to create different ring sizes.
You can also make heart-shaped smoke easily. After exhaling, flick the top of the ring about 2-3 centimeters downward. With this the ring you make will curve and become a heart shape
Method 5 of 5: Creating Bubbles ("Bubbles")
Step 1. Mix dish soap with water in a bowl
Make a mixture that is liquid in texture, but also contains enough soap to create bubbles. Try to use 1/2 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of soap, and readjust the proportions if necessary.
Step 2. Dip the end of the straw into the mixture
You will make bubbles just like a child usually plays. Try to get a thin soap film on the end of the straw.
The wider the straw, the better your bubbles will be
Step 3. Take a deep breath
Inhale as much smoke as you can. The more smoke you inhale, the bigger the bubbles will be. Leave the straw submerged in the soapy water while you smoke.
Step 4. Blow smoke from the dry end of the straw
Exhale slowly so that the balloon does not burst when it receives a sudden push of air. When you run out of smoke, stop blowing and pull the straw out of the bubble.
Do not suck air from the straw so that no soap gets into your mouth
Tips
Before doing the trick, try to swirl the smoke in your mouth. Water vapor in the mouth will make the resulting smoke better
Warning
- Do not start smoking for the sake of doing the tricks above. Some tricks take years to master.
- Never light a cigarette without considering the risks to you and those around you.
