You really don't have to spend a lot of money to make vampire fangs. Using fake nails, wax braces, or just using a straw, you can make the party costume a Halloween costume, or just an old Tuesday afternoon costume without breaking the bank. See Step 1 of the methods below to get started making vampire fangs!
Step
Method 1 of 3: Using False Nails
Step 1. Purchase a set of white false nails
The better the color of the false nails matches the color of your teeth, the better. You can color the fake nails, but they will be cute and will come off with your saliva. If you can't find false nails that are white, look for false nails that are a skin color.
-
A store-bought set of fake nails should suffice -- in this case, you don't need to be extravagant! Because you will only use two false nails.
Step 2. Choose false nails that match your canines
These false nails can be of different sizes. Therefore, choose false nails that match your canines -- i.e. false nails that have a pointed tip. Some people can even attach the artificial nails to their teeth. Can you paste without holding it?
-
If necessary, you can also use it on the incisors (the teeth to the left and right of your front teeth). For some people, by using artificial nails on the incisors, the canines are more visible and look good.
Step 3. File the false nails until they are pointy
You can use nail clippers if you don't have much time or are impatient, but filing is the best way to do it. You can file it as narrow, as long or as short as you like. Make sure the two fake nails match!
Step 4. Attach it using denture adhesive
You only need a small amount of the adhesive -- just a dot. You can use adhesives of any color, but it is better to use white or clear adhesives.
-
Do not use nail glue. Or super glue. Or any other type of glue. Because glue can contain toxins and artificial nails cannot be removed from your teeth.
-
You can still eat and drink with care, but try not to overeat with these artificial nails. Because the artificial nails can be swallowed!
Method 2 of 3: Using Wax Braces
Step 1. Use a small amount of braces wax and roll it into a ball
The candle should be half the size of a pea. These candles are not only available at the dentist! The wax can also be purchased at most drugstores in the dentist's section near toothpaste. Who knows there is.
Step 2. Press the wax against your canines
Shape the candle to look like fangs. How big and rough will your fangs make? Make sure to keep it easy to set up so you can still talk!
Step 3. Bite on the wax to make the wax stick behind your teeth
Make sure that the wax adheres well. If the wax doesn't stick well, it won't be stable and you won't be able to cover your mouth except by pushing it. You must be able to speak!
Step 4. Suck gently with the wax attached to the wax to try and create a vacuum
This makes the wax adhere more firmly to your teeth. The last thing you want is for you to be able to move, tumble and keep you talking without a slur.
Because vampires who spoke slurred like that weren't scary. You have to look scary
Step 5. Repeat for the other side
Then start scaring everyone, aiming for their neck and whole body. Avoid eating too much food in front of them because you will look less scary if you chew popcorn and your canines fall out.
Method 3 of 3: Using a Straw
Step 1. Cut the end of the straw before the curved part
You can also use straws that don't have curves. However, the upper end of the straw with the arch is of the appropriate size. Do you have one of the two types of straws? Cut a straw with a length of 5 cm.
-
Of course, you should choose a white straw. The red streaks can become blood, but only the most cowardly people will be fooled.
Step 2. Fold it in half and then cut the end of the object so that it is pointed
Force it to fold it in half, forming a crease, then trim each end so that it points. You can make you can make it very pointy and long or you can make it more subtle. How sharp of an angle do you want it to be?
-
Do this on both ends of the straw at the top and bottom.
Step 3. Separate the two halves of the straw and then cut one piece
The two halves of the straw should be weak enough that they separate with only a slight tug. Now you have two straws shaped like fangs for your teeth. Instead of removing the front and back, cut one fang on each object that will allow you to wrap around the teeth.
-
If you leave both sides, you will see two distinct fangs on each tooth. In this way, the fangs will be attached with the suction bandage wrapped around the back of the teeth and the fangs will only protrude forward.
Step 4. Attach it to your fangs
Fangs are teeth that have a naturally pointed tip. You can use it on other parts of your teeth, but it won't make you look like a vampire.
-
This thing isn't that strong. You can still talk and drink (ideally using a straw), and if you eat, try to chew with your back teeth. The benefit of this method is that these false fangs are easy to remove and reattach!
Tips
- Don't eat food while using the fake fangs as they can be damaged -- but that's your choice.
- Remove the artificial fangs by pulling out the candle. The remaining wax attached to the tooth can be removed by scraping it. (It is recommended to use a toothpick.)
- Dental wax (wax braces) can be purchased at the toothpaste section of any drugstore or grocery store or even from a dentist.
- Use longer candles to make longer fangs.
- Having braces can help keep the wax in place.
